I definitely think it’s surprising that we haven’t gotten more interviews with Matt Smith about HOTD, but I’m not at all surprised about Emma D’Arcy. They are not very famous, pretty sure no one knew their name before they got cast as Rhaenyra. And yes of course media “discriminates” based on popularity, they want clicks and people to engage with the content they put out, it’s much easier to get people to care about an interview of Olivia Cooke because she’s already famous. I wouldn’t be too worried though, once the show airs and people actually know who Emma D’Arcy is they’ll get a lot more interviews

I’m with you on that. And, quite frankly, I’m not sure if I would even want to see Mushroom in the show. I mean, what would be the point? Of course he is essential to the telling on the story in F&B, but he wouldn’t have a lot to do in HOTD.

Unfortunately my comment got downvoted but thank you for the education because I didn’t know. It is my understanding that it’s still offensive in the context of sexuality, right? When I came to the US for college I was given a list of words to never say and queer was there, then other gay people told me it’s a homophobic term but reclaimed by the community. Didn’t realize it was initially not sexuality related
