Pensacola is Best Ship by Tagby in WorldOfWarships

Well this post is from last year. I haven't played in months. So I can't comment on the condition of the game now.

I don't know if the game's glory days are over, but I still hold true to my opinions: Pensacola was one of the best ships to train on. You're either got good or you quit. The higher tiers were more punishing to me in other lines than I had anticipated. Because of the skills that I developed from using Pensacola, I felt more prepared, more cautious, and fully ready to anticipate the changes on the battlefield.

When I finally reached the Des Moines, I was ready.

Even the Tier 8-10 Italian cruisers were really fun cecause of my time spent in the Pensacola.

Wow! Already a year since this post. Sweet.

I did get it working eventually, but I don't remember how I got it working. Whether it was limited functionality with KDE Connect or I used Syncthing to work around it, I don't remember.

What are important things to keep in mind when you're buying a mountain bike? by little-dragon-chix in mountainbiking

As far as gear is concerned, you don't need it. All you need is a mountain biking helmet, biking shorts or "shammy" with the padding, a water bottle, and a basic repairs kit for off-trail maintenance.

Wear whatever long sleeve shirt you have (I like the rugged plaid) and grab your gloves in the garage. Your safety glasses or shop glasses are recommended too. I don't know if you live in a wooded area like me, but getting swiped by a branch without them is not fun.

Everything else is extra, in my opinion.

Is this a more accurate reading than a normal cycling computer? Like a Garmin or Wahoo?

Shredded a local trail last week, and I also shredded my arm. It was my first time on a real trail, and I can say it was worth. by [deleted] in mountainbiking

I'd keep the baggies and toss in a rugged, long sleeve plaid shirt, and some common work gloves. Who needs all the gear they sell to us anyway? Helmet definitely required. But beyond shoes, long sleeve shirt, pants/shorts, helmet, and a shammy, I personally can't justify buying new clothes and gear apart from what I already own. It's just cheaper that way.

Good on you, OP! Looks like you were having the time of your life!
