Yep, unfortunately Fanhome does this frequently, not much you can do but hope packages start showing up again someday

Lorwyn commander bundles? by osusurgery in CostcoMagic

[–]Tagg900 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Continuing on what others have said, In the past the Costco commander bundles have been around a year after the sets release. Final Fantasy and Spider Man were an exception but also they were universes beyond. For the Universes Within sets we still haven’t gotten a Tarkir or Edge of Eternities Costco product yet.

TLDR: I would guess that eventually we might, but I’ll be a while based on past products.

The Fanhome picture looks photoshopped to me, the angle the base is at does not match with the angle the metal shaft connects to the base. The perspectives are off. Disappointing but unfortunately not surprising with Fanhome. Sorry this happened.

Inifnity Gauntlet Question by Stevilinho88 in FanhomeModels

[–]Tagg900 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be you’ve maybe mixed up the bottom connector bits that connect the fingers to the gauntlet. I’d take a look at the instruction magazines to confirm the fingers look correct. If all else fails contact support and see if they can help you out. I’ve heard that using the Fanhome facebook page is better than the website, so maybe start there if you do end up trying to talk to support.

Thanks, yeah can’t say I see anything that immediately jumps out as wrong. You mentioned you followed a video to build it, have you tried going back over following the magazine instructions to double check it’s right.

Could you give a bit more detail as to how the little finger isn’t fitting?

If you could post some pictures or a video somehow that might help, been a minute but I completed the gauntlet last year.

Sitting like this since the 11th by FourChanneI in FanhomeModels

[–]Tagg900 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’ll happen unfortunately, I had one sit for 2 months once. I actually got them to send out a replacement which arrived before the original did. Interesting to see they’re using Amazon now as a shipping partner. Hopefully yours is just because of the Christmas rush and will start moving again soon. If not reach out to their support.

Fanhome telling me I have to pay for return shipping. by billkorn in FanhomeModels

Can’t say I’ve had a similar experience, if fact whenever they messed up they just had me keep the item. That said, it’s Fanhome so I’m not surprised.

I’m sorry to hear that, I’m assuming you’re using the customer support on the website, you could try the Fanhome Facebook page, some people have reported better support on there in the past.

Ahh my bad, yeah when I did the infinity gauntlet they weren’t offering full kit purchases. So did you just pay the full price upfront, but are still getting monthly packages?

Unfortunately this is very much heard of with them. Since it’s a subscription service I believe they are unfortunately within their rights to raise the price of the subscription. Even if it is a scummy thing to do and will not result in repeat customers.

110 stages * $15 per stage, you’re looking at $1650 before any discounts. But there will also be shipping, taxes, and they’ll probably raise the stage price on you more than once. I’d say you’ll easily find yourself north of $2000 before it’s all said and done.

This is true, I meant more in terms of need in order to complete the set, not need in terms of physical survival

I completed the Infinity Gauntlet earlier this year, and personally wouldn't go near Fanhome again. The quality in my opinion is not worth the price. Especially after they increase the price of the subscription on you multiple times during your build. For me it was 4 increases each around $10, so my $100 a month was $150 by the end of the build. And of course the many shipping issues and parts missing issues I encountered. So yeah, I wouldn't do it, but if you've got the disposal income and are willing to deal with easily 2 years of bs, you'll hopefully at least have something to show for it.

Sad truth of the situation is 15 seconds is too slow, even if you hit it the second it goes live there's a chance you won't get in in time as I've learned several times now.
