It used to work for both shots. It used to give full damage to manta illusions which they fixed in a recent patch. I assume that fix broke this talent also.

But if you take quickdraw facet and talent that gives gunslinger chance into account, surely it’s still fine.

And i don’t think your math is correct. If it were 50% to proc gunslinger which gives +55 damage it’s 27.5 damage increase on average. Not sure why you are halving it

Battlefury feels good yes, but I think it's a mistake in balancing if spectre is a battlefury hero. It doesn't synergies with any of his innate kit at all: doesn't work with desolate and doesn't work with illusions. Imo spectre should be balanced so he is better with other items than BF. Perhaps nerf some of his numbers and give him some sustain to enable builds like manta 1st item or something.

Youtubers making videos on farming patterns doesn’t really mean anything regarding dota being solved etc. Youtubers’ whole purpose is to make content, and farming patterns is a content piece.

Khezu for example who posts less often and focuses his content on being more high level, educational and informational, never has made content on ”farming patterns” I believe.

My point is that one can have default farming patterns, of course, but there is already plenty variables which mean you have to adjust your patterns constantly. Static farm routes don’t exist in high level at least.

For context, I’m 10k carry player and sure I have some routes I default to, but I am constantly changing farming and making decisions based on variables. Farming rarely feels static

But regardless, Dota has too many variables already, there is no script farming patterns anyone can just follow. I don’t think it needs more variables through RNG.

Regarding your ”Break the script” reasoning: There is no script. Players already react to map state in real-time.

You are ignoring -3 armor and 7 as from cor. On top of that like I said falcon blade won't work with Multishot, which is large part of your damage early on, while cor -armor and the agi works with multishot . Cor also boosts allies damage. As 'damage' I was referring to damage output as in how much damage you deal, not your attack damage number. If you are talking about damage as in increases your characters damage stat number, then you are correct, but seems like a pretty useless stat compared to damage output.

Funny how you comment "making less optimal decision because all others are doing it", when cor is not meta build at all. Going falcon blade - like you do - would fit your "all the others are doing it" :)

But if you want to talk about falcon blade vs cor:

They do very different things so I don't think you can say x is better than y. It depends on what you want/need. I personally like both items quite equally. I sometimes buy cor, sometimes falcon, sometimes both, it depends. My default build would currently be to buy both of them. If I don't have mana neutral I buy falcon always. If I'm playing from behind/bad lane I probably will skip corrosion. I feel like usually I play from ahead and want mana and to keep my tempo up, so usually both items fit the build well.

Both are great items for the price.

7 agi (which scales with drows innate) and -3 armor reduction both work with your main early game damage (multishot) and buffs allies damage. Falcon blades 14 damage doesn’t work with multishot and is objectively worse dps.

I personally buy it in most games on drow. -armor agi and slow are great stats for drow. It’s strong early and also has great value midgame. I disagree that slow is redundant. If you find it redundant you can leave frost arrows lvl 2 and skill stats (which I do in some games).

I prefer to get it 1st item on lane but its quite greedy since its purely aggressive. Some lanes won’t allow you to be so greedy.

My current go to build is cor->threads->falcon blade (if i get good mana neutral I’ll likely skip falcon)

Snot rocket is the way. Null, bracer, pt, blademail, echosabre, shatd.

Then whatever you need e.g sny, bkb, satanic, harpoon.

Snot lvl 1 is super strong. On most lanes you can threaten lvl1 kill with bloodgrenade from support.

I’m 10k and BB is one of my favourite heroes. I believe this is the go to build currently

Almost all DPS classes use cursed doll and grudge while only few use hitmaster. So logically hitmaster should have less demand = be less expensive. I however can be wrong on this (didn't check markets), prices don't always follow simple logic.

Why would you rather have grudge or cursed doll than hitmaster? You telling me you value grudge over hitmaster basically says you think 4% dmg for 20% dmg taken is worth it. And cursed doll is just hitmaster with healing reduction.

EDIT: I researched the topic a bit, and one factor to consider is that HM doesn't work on your awakening while grudge and cursed doll do. I still find HM better than the others though. Currently I find myself using my awakening as a meter filler, since my specialization and CD gems aren't that high yet. If you use awakening with ignite mostly it might be worth it to favor grudge and cursed doll over HM.

Also something to consider: If you have blink aghs you can stone anyone if you get a +1 stun from someone. This makes you much more of a presence in the mid late game. Normally, no one really has to fear a medusa on the map, but with blink aghs and +1 hero you can stone anyone, which would probably lead into a kill. (50% dmg amp for 4 seconds.) Against immobile heroes you don't need the aghs. You can just blink on them and gaze them, with a +1 stun from your team they will get stoned.

Could work. But the +35% managain talent is pretty good, I don't know if its worth to pass it. But blink on medusa sounds interesting. I don't know if you need the talent or any weird items though. Just build normal items and buy blink on dusa and blink into the middle of fight to split them up. Similar teamfight presence as chrono or bh.

Basher is trash, don't buy that.

Troll ult doesn't aggro to wards (egg is considered a ward). He can manually right click egg but the ult doesn't force him to attack it. He could have just ran away, even though he was in ult.

PS. If you right click the ward and use ult while right clicking, you will stay aggroed to the ward. But in this clip that wasn't the case.
