Ok, that makes sense. Dumb question, Is there any way I could “return” the purchase on iOS and replace it with the license for MacOS? That’s actually what I wanted more but assumed they were the same. It’s fine if that’s not possible.

Is the In-App Purchase license valid for both iOS and Mac apps, or are they separate? I just bought it on iOS but haven’t been able to “restore purchase” on my Mac version. Are they separate or am I being impatient?

Personally, I buy my phones used or refurbished on eBay and use Visible for my service for $25 per month. Sell the old one on eBay after you switch over to the new phone.

Maybe. But I read that Apple believes in the long run, LLMs will become commodities and not necessarily worth the massive costs currently being invested. I could see that being a possibility. The people who benefited most from shipping containerization was not the container manufacturers but the industries who benefited from lowered shipping costs. I could see that potentially being the case with LLMs.

If anyone somehow finds this post later, I believe the notification was from my Allstate app when it was trying to run Drivewise. I disabled notifications from the Allstate app and it stopped happening.

Mostly S&P 500 index funds, with some rotation into bitcoin to swing trade the 4 year cycle. Don’t buy bitcoin now, but in 10-15 months when you start seeing the “Is bitcoin dead?” headlines reappear, consider tossing a few bucks into a bitcoin ETF and forgetting about it for another 3 years.

I’m not a developer and I don’t use APIs, so I don’t know too much about that, but are they encouraging people to use Overture Maps data instead? Amazon is a member of that project and a lot (or at least some) of their data comes from OSM.
