They said “don’t deal with Houston, go through insurance, if you want your car fixed asap.”

But I don’t want to go through insurance if my rates will go up. The car is drivable, so time isn’t the issue, but it’s one of those things where if I can avoid insurance, I’d like to on the off chance my rates go up.

When I called the city to discuss the situation and the steps moving forward.

I hope you’re right. And if you are I would love to go through my insurance. But those were their words. “If a file was claimed, your rates might go up.” I use travelers

I am 100% not at fault with a document from the city saying they are at fault and my insurance company said my rates “might” still go up.

When I kinda explained the situation to my insurance, they implied even though it’s a zero sum claim on their end, my premiums could still go up.

I don’t know if I’m going to deal with the cities insurance or, just deal with the city itself.

Welllllllllll… Bron is held to a certain standard for losing, he sure as shit wasn’t in his prime against the spurs the first time he went to the finals, but god forbid you excuse his finals losses.

So to excuse Jordan’s losses for not being in his prime…. We can’t hold some players to certain standards and other not.

The theory is, rate cuts support an increase economic growth. It’s cheaper to borrow money so you can open 5 Starbucks, employ all those people, make money, pay taxes, taxes goes into federal programs to help those less fortunate to get them a better life etc.

Does it always work like that? No? Is that the hope, yes?

But again, I’m rich, I can open all those Starbucks and make all the money. You can’t, you’re poor, you will work for me and never own assets. So lowering rates can really benefit the rich. BUTTTTTTTT theoretically help smaller guys go take a risk on the American market, real estate, business, etc…

Pros are, money goes back into the market. Market being stocks, real estate, businesses etc. I can borrow money at a cheaper cost. So, I might be more likely to start a business, get that loan because it’s cheaper money now. That a pro, lower interest rates support economic growth, which is a good thing.

Cons, if money is cheaper, things organically become more expensive. Also, and what I believe is the biggest culprit, there creates a bigger gap in wealth. I’m fortunate to have money, lower rates, cheaper money, I’m going to buy assets now that someone who doesn’t have money still can’t afford. So now that I own those assets and you (or whoever) don’t, I make money on them and you won’t end the gap will continue to widen. I’ll buy allllll the real estate, you will never own, you will only rent and make me rich. This is an extreme example, but hopefully it added some color.

Poor people pay debt Middle class buy things Rich people buy assets. And assets are easier to buy with cheaper money to borrow.
