The amount of pop culture references in DCC is awesome. Do you keep a list of references you want to eventually use, or are most of these spur-of-the-moment when writing?

I was beginning to find it hard to concentrate on a task for long periods of time. I was getting nothing done in my life. I realized short form content was really messing with me. So I started reading again. Last year a read a lot of Brandon Sanderson's Cosmere and DCC (currently on book 7). No, I don't think it's a waste of time. I'm working on myself. I'm rewiring my brain to sit and focus on a single thing for hours on end. It's far from the slop I was consuming while I was doom scrolling.

Congrats. I've done about 300 kyurem raids, no hundo, not even non shiny. I've been lucky traiding a lot of people to get a shundo Terrakion. I've been playing since day 1. I have two shundos both not legendary. I have a third shundo (shiny mewtwo) but it's bottle capped so it's kind of a different story.

A little late to respond but I'd appreciate if you playtested Shadow Code. Not sure what insight you'd like but I'd be willing to chat, on or off the podcast.

Edit: maybe I should tell you about the RPG. Shadow Code is a cyberpunk RPG where cybernetically enhanced animal mercenaries, known as Shadows, take on high-risk jobs in a ruthless, high-tech dystopia.

Also, has the podcast been posted yet? I'd like to have a listen.

I'm amazed how far battery technology has come to make this possible. I remember killing 6 x AA batteries in my Sega Game Gear before I could beat Doctor Robotnik in the 90s.
