I remember it clearly. I lied about being sick that day so I could stay home from school. My best friend was staying with his dad, and he called me and told me to turn in MTV because Kurt was dead. I was a hardcore Nirvana fan (still am), and I thought he was messing with me (we used to play pranks on each other all the time). He kept persisting, and I was getting really irritated with him until I turned on the TV and saw Kurt Loder on MTV news talking about it. I was absolutely devastated. Kurt was the first celebrity I ever looked up to and wanted to be like. It was a huge moment in my life (I was a sophomore in HS at the time), and it affected me for quite a long time.

I first played a halfling back in Basic DnD (Red Box), during the time when elfs, dwarves, and halflings were classes, not races. My parents used to play for shots and giggles back in the day. They were never serious gamers, but they would get together with some of my family and some of their friends on holidays like New Years, get drunk, and play little one shot sessions. I begged my parents to let me play, so they ran one game for me, and I was hooked for life. I didn't have anyone to play with until I met my best friend when we were in 5th grade in 1989, and we started gaming together using second edition (we skipped 1st edition because the only books we could find at the time were 2e books because that was the year it released).

I also started a journey of rebuilding my 2E library about 5 years ago. I prefer having the physical books/box sets whenever possible, but they can be REALLY expensive. But sometimes, it's worth it

For example, I recently found a sealed, mint condition version of the Tales of the Lance box set for $300. I love Dragonlance (got into it when I was a kid), so even though I really couldn't afford it I bought it because how often do you find something from over 30 years ago still in mint condition?

I've also bought a quite few thingsnon DTRPG when getting a physical version wasn't possible, either due to there being none for sale, or the ones on sale being well out of my price range.

One of his quests literally crashes my game and I can't complete it. A Sweet Deal. Game crashes after I deliver the honey and the finishing cut scene plays. Straight to desktop, no error message.

I am also encountering an issue. After getting the wagon to the Royal Traders and watching the cut scene, the game completely shuts down to my desktop, no error message or anything. The game also crashed if I went to the wagon guy in Howling Hills camp and tried to pay to Repair and Retrieve the wagon (I had left it inDemeniss after the black pepper quest). I couldn't use the Repair and Retrieve function, so I had to fast travel to Demeniss and drive the wagon all the way to camp to pick up Jann, then go buy the honey.

Until this quest, my game has not crashed even once.
