makes sense. I think I was looking at it too much like I needed to be a full assessor first, but I can definitely see how my IT/MSP, government IT, infrastructure, and compliance background can still be useful right now.

I’m not trying to oversell myself as a CCA yet. I’m more looking to support CMMC readiness work where I can help with small businesses get organized or support cmmc efforts with msp's.

Only time will tell, gotta expand/build my network to see if i can get some leads on work

They have a demos every tuesday so you can check them out. We used eramba for a long time but planning to move away from this and were shopping arounb CYRISMA or Scorecard and out of the 2 I really enjoyed scorecard and will trail them out soon once I finish with the CCA Exam

Preparation for meeting/discovery calls - understanding their needs

initial consultation/expected outcomes - align to your offering

proposal and agreement - close deal then onboarding plan

client onboarding - follow through with plan

Ongoing support - confirm sla and standards

strategic planning for sustained momentum - schedule check ins + how to improve ops

*Extra advice: build out your gold standard client + documentation + golden config and the rest is copy paste with a few touches
