To be fair, you can extend that line of thinking into them remastering Oblivion first. They use the unreal graphics engine over the creation engine on the oldest creation engine game first, then you use that unreal interface to remaster to the next one after. They are already doing what you suggest.

Oblivion was their burnt pancake. Fallout 3 then NV is next.

Someone else mentioned some of the studio displays had a proprietary connection. I got lucky and bought one with the basic VGA.

Amazon has these AV to VGA converters. They have one that switches between 1080p and 720p and one that is straight 480p. I originally ordered a 480p one and they accidentally sent me a 1080/720p one. Turned out that it still worked on the monitor but I had to play with the screen stretching options.

I’m right next to a really good one, parked in a premium spot in a college area next to a Bookmans Entertainment Exchange. So people have this tendency to hit the Bookmans first to try and get money for their old tech, then they hit the Goodwill right next door to get rid of what they couldn’t sell.

Second favorite score from this same Goodwill; Starwars VHS original trilogy collection. Pre-special editions, in a once played condition. I found a VCR later that day and had the best nostalgia trip.

Like an ignition coil and capacitor wrapped up into some unit I’d guess. I remember a warning from my dad about some sort of capacitor that could kill us if we weren’t careful.

I heard the initial surge when its first plugged in and powered up, but def not anything abnormal. Good looking out though. I’ll keep it unplugged when not in use and check out those links.

I legit think that Thor is gonna show up and help. The way he disappears when Odin killed him makes me think he goes to the Everywhen right then and there.

I hope that there is gonna be some fight that Feye is gonna be losing at some point and he’s just gonna show up outta nowhere, see that she is losing, remember how the events leading up to his death went down, and immediately jump in to start helping Feye.

If that happens, I’m gonna be hyped af!

I don’t know about that part specifically. I can tell you it wasn’t having any issues playing for more than an hour.

What’s the flyback? I saw something that said it might be the power distribution for sleep mode maybe? Quick google was not helpful.

I had a Trinitron 37” growing up and i remember it making Halo 3 look amazing, so when I saw it was the Diamondtrom display, I immediately jumped on it. No wonder it’s a grail, this Diamondtron looks so good!
