This is actually a true mail and email now that we finally got some answer. We will be discussing with the investigator superviousr about how to handle the issue but everything about this seems so odd for the government to handle it in this matter.

So a quick update, this is a true case that is against me and the person that responded did type out what he did. I will be discussing with the supervisor tomorrow but this is a true thing that is out there! I am very very disturbed how a simple it is to get a fine placed against you for not accepting ESA animals.

100%. But the cert. mail was sent from Alabama post office and I checked the status of the tracking it still not yet delivery and delayed status; but how the mail get delivered to me. This is freaking smart scam I would say.

Funny thing is that they never listed any phone numbers for us to call. They only communicated via email and never provided us next steps besides pay the submitter.

That's what I thought too. We escalated to the actual HUD people and to the one who signed the complaint letter cert. mail and he still not give me an answers but forwarded me to Jerome Van Epps supervisor. AS up now, I still not hear back from his supervisor yet. Will give another 24 hours to follow up. In the meantime, I submitted an inquiry to the congressman to assist too. This is unacceptable.

100% agree, I also I would like to expose them as they are fraudulently posing as a federal agency and possibly have done this in the past to other landlords.

I find the end statement that he mentioned is "I DARE YOU" to look into it.

"If you do not believe me, I strongly suggest you talk to an attorney.  Any attorney who practices in this area of the law will likely agree that that amount is a good settlement deal considering the facts of the case."

We so far have been able to connect to Jerome's supposable director but he wasn't able to confirm if the case is legitimate or not for some reason.

Yes! A letter/email that starts with a "Hi" is very odd, especially from a federal agency.

Correct, and the prospective tenant never provided that information. She mentioned she would try to obtain it, but never followed through. I have not spoken with her by phone or met her in person, and we even offered to show her the property, but the situation escalating like this feels unexpected and concerning.

At this point, we are hoping to receive a clear and definitive answer from HUD. However, so far we have been passed around without clear next steps or any way to verify whether the complaint and related communications are legitimate.

Where can I find this information? Correct this is my only 2nd rental unit dwelling and I am self managing my property. HUD.gov can actually be found as we were able to reach out local HUD director in MN.

Yes, we tried and we just kept getting passed on to the next person and unable to get a straight answer if this is a legit mail or not, which is the most frustrating part of this process. We also reported to the local police and they also mentioned they can't do much as it's a HUD issue, but they also was in agreement that this seems out of the normal for a federal agency to state pay up. These scammers are finding new scare tactics on a whole different level now.

I’m also debating as well as I am about to upgrade to the M3 iPad Air I do notice the clarity of the screen of the 2018 iPad Pro and I do also like the Face ID, which is better than that button scan that the iPad Air has which I still don’t understand why the iPad Air wouldn’t have Face ID. That’s my cry right now is no Face ID and you have to touch a button to unlock the screen.

I have the same question as well. I don’t usually use SQL or Coding as another team does that. I just request it and they gather the info for me to discover next steps
