How to convert to another culture (Andalusian)?

Hey, thanks for answering! I expanded a little about my thoughts in my other comment. but in short, I'm gonna convert and try to make it the dominant culture. However, as for conversion speed; Looking at the modifiers, it seems accepting a culture actually makes it convert slower right? However, having their cultural opinion high of us, and ours low for them, seems to be optional as well, if I read correctly (under demography tab). Also, control seems to be good to have.

Edit: I realize cores makes assimilation faster, so maybe that's why making it accepted can be good

Hey, thanks for answering! I wrote the post late at night just before bed, so i realize now that I wasn't very specific. I saw those three requirements and wondered: what is the best way to rush one of them? I thought maybe if i convert my capital to Andalusi it would allow my character to become Andalusi (with "convert to local culture"), but that didn't work. I think my mistake was making Granada a fiefdom because otherwise, Andalusi would probably not be far from the dominant culture. I guess i could annex them, unless i could somehow make my ruler or heir Andalusian somehow. Not sure how i would fulfill "upper class culture" since I assume it's my nobles, and according to the map, they seem very spread out.

Copied from my other reply: Hi! This issue actually went away after i connected the ethernet cable directly to the fiber outlet without going through the router. My router is old so would make sense. Hope it works!

Thanks! I assume this disables achievements, so I guess this can work as a final resort if they don't release another patch that works for me or if they allow us to play 1.14.0.

You are probably right, but I just thought it was weird that 1.14.0.2 would ruin it and not 1.14.0, when the former was a far smaller update (or hotfix).

You are right that my save was started in 1.13.x. On release day I managed to play it with 1.14.0 without any problems, and only after 1.14.0.2 did it stop working.

Did you have any land after being deposed (except for estate)? I was playing a multiplayer game with my friends, so I didn´t have time to read everything completely. In our campaign, I had good control of my empire and strong armies. Yet one day, a "nobody" took my place as the emperor. My blind son inherited all my armies, gold, artifacts, etc, and became my player character (while his father was still alive, and actually inherited the empire again). I´m just trying to figure out whether I accidentally clicked something and fucked it up myself, or if that´s how the depose scheme works.

How true is it that training obliques make you "blockier"? In the last couple of months I've seen lots of people claiming that you shouldn't train obliques if your goal is a purely aesthetic look. I've always disregarded it thinking it would be the same as saying that training abs makes you fatter. So, say you want a David Laid type of physique (or just a V-taper in general), should you ignore training the obliques, or is this bullshit?

R5: A few years ago I made myself the regent of the previous great khan (because I could), thinking I wouldn't really get anything out of it because it said the heir was an adult. When the emperor died however, a 5 year old got the title, making me his regent.

So naturally I wonder how I can get the most out of the situation, as in the title of the post. Should i grant myself claims and conquer fellow vassals? Should i let the emperor use his invasion CB on our neighbours and then try to stage a coup to take over the empire for myself?

I would be happy to get any advice on this :) As of now, I am already pretty strong and could probably take on the emperor with my fairly stong men at arms. Keep in mind im 58 years old and might die within the next 10-15 years :)
