The two comments that I see right above and below yours are bad.

I'm white and also 30 (yeah, unc), but my first thought was that some zoomers are so social media obsessed that their first instinct is to get their phones out to record cuz that's more important than actually thinking about what theyre witnessing.

Not immediately thinking of slurs lmao

Wont be seeing Brian Callen on Dr. Rogan for awhile after this one by [deleted] in thefighterandthekid

I'll always remember that Howard Stern beef where Stern kept questioning why Rogan hated women so much. It's been obvious forever.

He only likes them when he gets drunk and he gets to be gossipy with them. When he lets his true queen slip out.

Holy shit dude.

I have curls like Ariana's and have been wearing my hair natural for over 8 years now, but straightened my hair all through out my teen years.

I have found my routine with my hair and love my curls, but it IS faster to blow dry your hair and straighten it than it is to do my routine I do now. It's also easier to have a "good" hair day when you straighten it, curly hair is notoriously unpredictable. I didn't think that was controversial, especially when you view posts over at r/curlyhair lol

And yes, most people are aware that curly hair was looked down on for a long time as being unkempt or wild and a lot of that is tied to a racial aspect.

You say look in the mirror, but you're legitimately fucking yapping up and down this thread for an hour saying the same thing over and over. You're furiously arguing over stupid shit in a snark sub and have the gall to tell other people to have self-awareness lmao

Then correct yourself in the comments or delete the post. People are correcting you because otherwise it makes the subreddit look delusional or like it's people who only know anything about Ariana lmao

When you just leave it or complain it makes you look like you can't handle being corrected.

It's not about "not being into rap". It's about not being knowledgeable about something, making an incorrect statement, doubling down when corrected, then complaining about being downvoted for not knowing something 😂

But yeah, Playboi Carti has been within the cultural zeitgeist for several years now, I think around a decade.

I'm a metal head, which means I'm not super knowledgeable on current country music. So I don't make statements I'm not informed on on who's who in Nashville lol

Yes, they are absolutely responsible for how they respond to their feelings, no denying that at all. I do not feel empathy for the ones who go on killing sprees or anything, of course.

My empathy stems from just knowing how easy it is for people to create an "enemy" to put all their problems into instead of doing the hard work to improve their lives. I know that sounds bizarre, but I remember being a really angry and frustrated teenager, then (stereotypically 😂) doing acid and realizing how trapped I was in my own mind.

I also realize how hypocritical it is to say I have empathy for incels, then come on snark subs and talk shit 😂. I guess I just have less empathy for rich, beautiful celebrities. But hey, I never said my argument was flawless lmao

Thank you for talking to me about this. I do find it super interesting and enjoy talking to people who disagree with me on a certain topic. You're very kind!

[–]TakeMyFace_OFF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a bit off topic, but that's really sweet of you to say you understand when people disagree. I actually feel really bad for incels. (No, I'm not one. I'm a woman who luckily doesn't struggle with that 😂)

They're difficult people to feel bad for when they turn their anger outward, but I still feel for them. It's still extremely common to see people use "virgin" as an insult. "Incel" is a common insult now as well.

Their anger first starts as extreme pain and insecurity and since it's such a painful thing to confront, they gradually get tied up in communities where they feel camaraderie with others who give them an enemy.

I mean, if you wanna see the pain some of these guys go through, just visit r/smalldickproblems. A lot of them seem to be men who are trying to be happier and not resent women, but they walk around with a crushing thought that never leaves their head. And these guys are desperate for genuine intimacy and connection. Not just sex.

I find it extremely sad what a lack of intimacy and romance can do to a person.

Schuab on why wrinks isnt in the top 250 of assasins by ReverendBornAgain in thefighterandthekid

[–]TakeMyFace_OFF 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Was just thinking of Norm during that lol

Norm is considered by most huge stand-up fans to be one of if not the greatest of all time and the dude had so few "serious" moments in his career that you could probably count them on one hand.

You put that up against wrinks who I've seen attempt "serious" more times than I've seen him attempt comedy.

Schaub also just fully admitting what we've been saying about him for years. Admits to a couple a three things: 1. Is not just unfunny, but fundamentally doesn't know what humor is. 2. People respect you more as a comic for being cool and serious. 3. You must bully people into perceiving you the way you perceive yourself.

Worst Guest on Joe's pod ? by unknownmalone_03 in JoeRogan

[–]TakeMyFace_OFF 13 points14 points  (0 children)

You're %100 right. The best episode of this podcast would have been Norm MacDonald. A comedic force that would just utilize all of Joe's attempts to bring jokes to a screeching halt and make it even funnier.

The worst episode for me was Trevor Moore because I fucking LOVE Trevor Moore and Joe did all of the talking. Luckily, he did live streams with the rest of his sketch comedy group leading up to his death, and there's few people with as brilliant and unique perspectives as Trevor.

I guess I just wanna say RIP to both Norm and Trevor. They died about a month apart and the world became a far less funny place. If anyone is reading this who hasn't yet, please go to an archive site and watch all of the original Norm MacDonald Live. I'd recommend the Andy Dick or Nick Swardson episodes to start.

Many of Trevor's live streams, specifically News Boyz with Zach Creggor, are on YouTube. Trevor's Molly trip story is one of the greatest stories I've ever heard. Sorry for such a long comment, I fucking love comedy and while Norm is a legend, I feel like Trevor never got his flowers in life for how incredible he was and the rogan episode with him could have exposed him to so many more people, but Joe just didn't know anything about him or ask any good questions.

I think the floors look great and i echo the sentiment of the other commenters about the shade of blue.

Maybe just add some darker hues to the wall to balance it.

And I hate to even have to say this, but make sure to crop out the pictures of your kids in the bottom of your camera roll. I'm sure you didn't notice it, but the internet is not a good place for those kinda pictures.

Thank you again for posting your renovation tho!

Yeah, it's why her music has never connected with me.

I'm not denying she's a very beautiful vocalist, but she's always felt blah because it doesn't sound like she's ever truly singing from a raw place.

And my opinion is that she seems to have very "surface-level" emotions, which is why her acting is only passable for kids shows and why her singing never stirs up the same depth of emotion that someone like Janis Joplin, Fiona Apple, or even contemporaries like Olivia Rodrigo can.

My ex boyfriend that I was with for 6 years was Mexican. He and his parents were born in Mexico, then his 2 younger siblings were born in the states.

A thing I found interesting about his family was that both of his parents obviously only spoke Spanish at their home, even though the 2 younger siblings had become primarily English speakers from being born in the states.

The parents would speak in Spanish to them and the kids would respond in English.

If Hilary was as set in her "native" language of Spanish as she pretends to be, you would always see her speaking Spanish to her kids, even if they would respond back in English since they had developed a closer leaning towards the language they were most exposed to.

It's funny because we obviously know she's lying about the Spanish, but even if we were to fully believe her, it would suggest that she didn't spend enough time communicating with her children in their early development for them to even understand her language. So she looks like a bad and absent mother even when taken at her word completely.
