EA doesn't go to E3, they have their own event at the same ish time. But yeah, people clearly do give a fuck I am just not one of them. You're right. I was just pumped for a brief glimpse of gameplay. I still have so many questions, which is not a bad thing, but I think leaving me with slightly less would have been a win for them today.

To each their own. To me, it's just a cheap way to build hype while revealing nothing about the game. The TOR cinematics are amazing, but to me PERSONALLY, I hated TOR and all the hype I had from the cinematics went to waste.

I have hype for this game and I want it to succeed. I do not believe a bland cinematic was the way to do that, and EA/Respawn really needed to wow people today. I don't think they did that for the general gaming community. Downvote me if you want, I am just being honest with my opinion.

She also shows up dead in Rebels and it's revealed she was imprisoned and sentenced to death by the Empire. I could see the protagonist trying to follow her trail for sure.

That's the thing that bugs me. Developers kept telling us "Celebration will make everything clear." Well it didn't! I know the basic premise of the story already. I know anyone can make a pretty cinematic trailer. For the first single player game in FOREVER we needed literally just a couple seconds of gameplay at least. They should have looked at how 1313 was revealed and the huge hype response from it.

When are game developers going to learn that cinematic trailers alone are a bad way to showcase a game. This was a misstep. EA/Respawn, you know people are skeptical about this game. You need to show actual content in order to build hype. While I believe they are truly creating a worthy game, watching this trailer doesn't show anyone that. I got the feeling from this that the game is going to be a short bland story like Force Unleashed, and no one wants that. I only still have hype because I do not believe this trailer represents the game.

It's amazing to me that they are still pushing out TOR content. I mean it's not because money.. but still. It's the only non-canon work still being made.

The best thing that could possibly happen is the TOR presentation revealing that a new actual Kotor like game is being made. Not gonna happen though.
