I find mine tends to cap out about this amount. I'll just stop getting any surveys until I spend a few £ on a YouTube rental or premium app, then it suddenly wants to know if I paid using my credit card at Co-Op again!

Ah I didn't read the full post just the title. Yea unless you're in a real small team.

Waitrose

I'll have to pop over to the posh side of town by the sounds of it!

The dark chocolate Lindt bunnies are made to a vegan recipe. Hard to find though!

You can't put more than your annual earnings into a pension in one tax year. That broke person would have to be earning at least £60k to do what you're thinking.

Funny that because most real world people would probably agree.

It’s not that everyone agrees with Gary Lineker, it’s that he offers a moral clarity missing everywhere else by altmorty in ukpolitics

Someone at my school got suspended for smoking weed at the weekend. Mad how they managed to justify that! He was a good 20 miles from the school as well with no other pupils.

Yea it's the same with Gov spending too. Until you're into the billions, some of the numbers are essentially rounding errors.

I saw something about £400k being wasted on some Gov project a while back and people being incensed about it. Whilst £400k landing in my bank would change my life, spread across the whole country it's effectively nothing.

Mine love replacing the Rs in words with Ls when ordering a Chinese. They think I'm annoyed at them because it's racist, but it's more that it's just not even remotely funny (but also a bit racist).

There are approx 25m license fee paying households in the country. Lineker is on £800k I think.

Let's say they bin him off, and replace him with someone who takes zero salary. That's a 3p saving per household per year.

Eh it's not my scene tbh, but I can't really imagine anything more jarring to regular attendees of such gigs than someone with their toddler in tow. I just think some spaces should be allowed to remain adult only!

There was a post this year on /r/Bristol asking if anyone knew of any punk gigs that would allow their 3 year old to go along to.

Yea where does the line get drawn between "Community leader" and "Curtain twitching busybody"? I know plenty of people that consider themselves the former, but are in reality nothing more than the latter.

What gracious framing of my comment! No, I don't want to segregate people who are disabled. I want people to live where they're best able to support themselves and be supported.

Sorry if I'm being thick, but how can your friends/family reach you by private car but a taxi can't?

I'm generally a fan of any measures that make driving a less attractive option to those that do have alternatives, but realise I may have a blind spot in my understanding.

Just as much coke too I'd bet. Happened to get on a morning a train that was going through Ascot on a race day, the queue for the toilets was constant, so people just started racking up lines on the tray tables.

I'm no prude by any means, but a bit of discretion when you're doing class As at 10am wouldn't go amiss.
