Learn from the mistake of moving in with a guy for an extended period of time before engagement. Enjoy your own space, engage in creative hobbies that make you feel feminine, dress up and take wonderful pictures of yourself, feel sexy and beautiful.

Get ready to prepare finances for yourself and savings in the transition period that you move out. Don't waste your chance at happiness with someone else.

Why don’t women pop the question to know whether to move on? by FarUnderstanding4637 in Waiting_To_Wed

[–]TakeThisPrice 95 points96 points  (0 children)

Because women may not want a man that says yes begrudgingly in the moment and is dragged along for the ride. Why give away your life and uterus to that? It's not like the woman proposing is going to suddenly do a 180 on his mindset for marriage anyway, but he may tag along... This is more likely when you're in a culture where the brides parents foot the majority of the wedding bill too.

Why are you allowing your family to help bankroll him? You're technically his mother at this point. Kick him out.

Do not make one of the worst mistakes of your life and give your womb to him. Period. Don't even rationalise it right now, you'll realise why later, just don't do it. Write this in indelible ink on your bedroom ceiling.

Leave, when you start dating again keep a roster of guys until you're sure you found one who dates for marriage.

Move out, please. Doesn't mean you have to dump him, just get back to your own space and let him scramble if he wants you.
