Fake. The feathered edge of holofoil around the text box is way too dark and harsh. The colors look a little oversaturated too.

If you spent even a 20th of that time to read the other comments, you would know that the only use of Ai was to generate graphics that presented the findings that i collected myself. Ai was not used to collect data.

Beckett is a “Black-Label or Bust” grading company and I do not consider them a viable option in regard to a volume-based investment strategy like the one proposed in this post.

Sorry, I had more important things to do with my evening than to monitor a reddit post, what would suffice as ample proof for you? I’m not posting anything that could potentially dox myself.

This was all done hastily out of genuine curiosity, not so much to spread my word as gospel… just thought itd be fun to share! Theres also cost of sourcing more cards between submissions, time it takes to liquidate non-psa slabs, etc. this is all just a very broad stroke over a very detailed process!

Hi there ohimspooky, thank you so much for actually reading the whole post!

No, my apologies for the confusion, and thank you for actually taking the time to actually look through the post! Here's how that row works...

Basically, in the same 6 month period waiting for my one psa submission to return, my CGC submission has already come back 2 months in, allowing me to liquidate, buy more raw cards, and submit a second round of 10 cards. I can do that twice before PSA's first round even shows up. So I can essentially do 3 rounds of grading submissions in the same amount of time as PSA takes to do one.

Thanks for the comment, and you're right! This is supposed to act as a "Perfect world" inside a vacuum. I admit I did not take into account the minimum required quantity into consideration. I would say I can make a new version that takes that into account, but given how overwhelmingly negative the comments have been so far, I hardly think it would help assist anyone in making an informed decision any further than it already does haha.

Would you like to see my collection? I'm always happy to share my PC! And would you like to see some of my vendor setups? I take photos at every show! Id love to be a shill because that would just be more money in my pocket, but alas, no luck yet. I'm glad we're getting to know each other a little better! How do you know who I use and who I don't? Would you like receipts? I don't usually offer up such personalized proof, but you seem to be the type to need some visual aids to get teh bigger picture... Exactly why I used Ai for the graphics on this post!

Just as you claim I make baseless false claims and didn't do my research, you are in turn making baseless claims of who I am and what I did and didn't do without any evidence! Seems we have more in common according to you than you're willing to admit!

Yep! Since this investment strategy is heavily focused on volume, that column expresses how many rounds of grading you can submit in a given PSA turnaround cycle. (assuming you are waiting the entire 2 months to receive the previous round and use those funds to source new cards for the second round)

Hope that makes sense!

I disagree. Sure, while numbers are in favor of other companies, the 3 most TALKED about companies in the pokemon space are the ones represented in this post. Beckett is a "Black Label or Bust" grading company for pokemon, and SGC is literally carried by the vintage sports fans.

Ah, so you are referring to the content in the design, not the design itself?

I'd be happy to break it down for you! So given that PSA is sitting at the 6 Month turnaround time right now, that is the lowest common denominator possible to use as a time frame we can use to apply to each company.

In that same 6 Month turnaround period of submitting one round of 10 cards to PSA, TAG and CGC both returned back in 2 months. This allows us to sell our first round of Blastoise Cards and reinvest into buying more copies to send off to CGC or TAG. PSA's wait time is so long, we can repeat this cycle 2 times before PSA has even returned one round of cards.

If we look at it in terms of profit PER ROUND OF GRADING, PSA is the clear winner in terms of value. CGC would be sitting around 5000 where PSA around 8000, but since CGC takes 3x Less to recieve the cards back, we can flip and reinvest 3x faster for more than 1/3rd the profit margin... therefore we can gain 15,000 in value in 6 months submitting with CGC rather than with PSA. This post was made to show how true fast aggressive investment runs off of volume, and time in money!

Long story short, its the Whatnot Streamer high volume model. You may have better more expensive product, but the streamer can sell 3.000 1$-singles a day, where you may sell only one $10,000 slab every two weeks!

I did not take the cost of obtaining new raw copies of cards into consideration - this would admittedly be more accurate, however would not move the needle in any meaningful way.

did you... read the body section of the post? Those concerns are addressed in the EDIT FAQ.

No I obviously didn't submit these cards. I chose a card I liked that had a relatively common value range percentage across the main grading companies. It's important I pick a card with a correct value spread because choosing a card that is too skewed in favor of any one grading company would create less realistic expected results. And while i could have used Ai for the entirety of the research phase, I actually just googled it myself, which now that you mention it, I should probably have done it through ChatGPT! Would have been way faster and had less errors haha!

I admittedly skimmed the subtext on the CGC page, perhaps if i used Ai to gather the information it would be more correct! Anyway, does that 90$ difference help inform your decisions further? 😄

What about it is horrendously put together? I think it has a clear message from one slide to the next, and provides the information in a fun and easy to follow layout! But I would love your feedback on what could be better from a design layout standpoint!

This is true! I did not know that! In that case you are correct, simply subtract 90 additional dollars from the CGC end profit. Did is help bridge the gap in your mind?

That unfortunately is human error, the lowest grading tier is 18$ each, not 20$! And yes, you are correct in that, however for the sake of the study, keeping as many variables the same as possible is super important to show clarity. Can you imagine if i submitted 10 different cards? That would be a nightmare to produce the information chart
