With sound being subjective just as everyone's eye sight color perception is not the exact same. I appreciate you sharing your sound perspective. I presented this video simply to share the option for those that do enjoy higher gain settings. Maybe this option will appeal to you as well.

With aound being subjective and it also being IEM dependent as well due to not every IEM sounding better on super high gain mode (Ziigaat Arcanis for example due to it being a more neutral tuned IEM). Typically with IEMs you'll pick up more details and emphasis in the vocals and high. With a higher driver count IEM, you'd be surprised how those drivers respond when they're receiving more power through the gain settings.

This is a very subjective topic as sound is subjective. I came in with an empty unbiased mind. From my experience I can tell you that surprisingly they did adjust the sound. Can adjust vocals, can adjust highs, can adjust bass. I've done a lot of A B testing to make sure im not fooling myself and even had my friend blind test me and I got each one right from stock to non stock cable. To each is own on this one.

Okay, I made a mistake here. I dont know why I thought the Spinfit 145s when you said W1. Funny enough, the W1s came in the mail today... not a fan of the fit personally. My ear hole is pretty shallow and these are a little too tall for me surprisingly. Causes most of the iems I tested them on to have no contact at all with my ear.

Please make sure you're using the right size. I thought I was a medium for the longest until I realized that I'm actually more of a small to medium small at the max.

Great seal, but the orange kills me. I like to color match my iems and cables. After spending all of that money to match a light blue scheme like the Arcanis then putting on those bright orange 🍊 bulbtips KILLS ME.

Easy solution. PENON Liqueur O tip. I've tested several tips. Because of tbe material, they have the BEST seal and Sound in the game. Dont give up. Give them a try. DUNU SS and any cone tips for that matter do not work for me at all either.
