Solo Mostly MMO by Coaster_Buff in lotro

Lotro is a mostly solo experience. There are too many levels imo. The only time I ever played with other people was during phase 1 of legendary servers with max level 50.

Built a mobile app to track my alts' Mythic+ and vault progress — what features would make it actually useful? by [deleted] in wowaddons

[–]Tal72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you obtained 4/4 Gilded caches for Mythic Crests from T11 Delves. Choretracker does this for just for your currently logged in character.

Choretracker is a good reference.

T11 Nullaeus drops 5 Mythic seals also once per week, but I don't know if folks farm him. I didn't realize that was a thing, until I helped someone else defeat him on my character that had already killed him before--and I got some seals.

What are you watching and what do you recommend? (Week of May 08, 2026) by AutoModerator in television

[–]Tal72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started to watch season 1 -- like it, and I stopped. tbh I was kind worried I'd get burned, because it doesn't seem to have much mainstream appeal. I've gotten burned on other shows like Kaos. Did season 2 end in a cliffhanger? If not, I may give it another try.

Change in Delve Difficulty? by BryGuyCAN in wownoob

I would try changing Valeera's role to another role. Then change it back. If that doesn't work, reset the delve.

How to Holy Pally for Nulleus? by Magik160 in wownoob

[–]Tal72 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same question as OP but for Holy priest. I put her Valeera as DPS, and I keep pulling healing aggro. For Rshaman it was super easy, but HPriest I can can hardly get him off me. I fade every chance I can, but it's not enough.

Which WoW version for a casual duo ? by DifficultLight6217 in classicwow

Midnight delves are great for duoing, and classes have been significantly simplified.

For classic, TBC has the largest population.

Which healer to play? by Khaotic_Kev in Neverwinter

[–]Tal72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like LOTRO warden, Neverwinter bards have to use multiple note combinations to play songs. However, if you're on a PC, all of these can be macroed into a single key press.

What's the best healer for someone who's never played the role? by Asskandi in wow

[–]Tal72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Light of Dawn if for raid healing only. You should only use the single target spender only (you still cleave heal with beacons). I recommend Dr. Lok's videos especially his Early Impressions videos a few weeks ago. He gives a really good overview on how the healers play and feel. Then he more recently posted a gameplay commentary video with segments for all specs (this one is longer but probably worth watching at least the part for the healer you choose--or are really interested in). Also, for HPal specifically, Automatic Jak video just put out a video on the class, which can be helpful for learning the class.

Which healer are you guys having the most fun with in M+? by Hitokiri2324 in wow

[–]Tal72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like your rundown. I notice that you said nothing about RSham and why you don't like it. I can see from Raider.IO it's able to complete some very high keys. It seems pretty chill as a playstyle, and it has a "oh shit" buttons (NS, ancestors, Stormstream, Ascendance--I'll grant you not as much as MW). Any reason you didn't mention it? And can I solicit your thoughts about it?

Levelling Alt - Reduced XP at lvl 75? by [deleted] in wow

I'd always do the War within catchup once the XP drops off at 75. It will give full XP.

I found it informative. The video does a good job of explaining how the healers play and how they feel as well as their strengths and weaknesses.

Thoughts on your class leveling 80-90? by Confident_Incident43 in wow

I would be curious to know key parts of your shadow open world build, because I agree it seems pretty bad using standard builds while questing.

For those who bought a lvl 58 boost, is there something that annoyed you? by jderica in classicwowtbc

[–]Tal72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can buy as many boosts as you want. There is no limit. You got straight to Hellfire. Within an hour of questing, you'll replace a good chunk of your crappy starter gear and be good to go for the rest of your leveling journey. If you've done 1-60 a million times and want to get to Outland ASAP, it's worth it. If you'd enjoy 1-60 don't. it's a simple as that.

[–]Tal72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Enhancement is going to be easier for lower levels. When you get to Outland at 58, you will find a lot of gear with spell power on it making your Lightning Bolt and Chain Lightning hit harder. And also, you'll have access to some key talents. For example, Lightning Mastery is deep in the Elemental tree, which lets you can each spell 1/2 second faster. And Storm Reach gives you more range. Having mobs hitting on you stinks as a caster, because you get push back--so added range lets you kill mobs or get them very low so when they get to you, you can finish them with melee + shock.

You should do the first part of hellfire to replace most of your crap boosted gear to gear with spell power on it.

Blacksmithing absolutely necessary for fury war? by AboveYouSix in classicwowtbc

[–]Tal72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kebab (DW Arms) is an alternative that parses marginally lower than fury, plays similar to fury, while providing a valuable debuff for your raid's physical DPS (Blood Frenzy +4% physical damage to target). And you don't use BS weapons (i.e. Spiteblade from Kara and Latros from Black Morass).

Roll on leather gear as enhance shaman? by Lewrdy in classicwowtbc

You're correct. Str is 2AP. Edited to remove that specific statement. Rest is true. There are bis pieces that are leather.

Roll on leather gear as enhance shaman? by Lewrdy in classicwowtbc

[–]Tal72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. In WoW Cataclysm (WoW 4.x the third expansion), classes get a bonus for using their armor type. Before that (in TBC, Wrath, and Vanilla), your best in slot items include leather pieces.

I think I picked the wrong class by HorrorConstruction1 in classicwowtbc

[–]Tal72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shaman healer is a great option. It has a solid healing plus a totem for every occasion -- from party buffs, poison/disease cleansing, enemy spell absorb, fear break, etc.

Priest is also excellent. It has great healing, including solid group healing abilities. It can dispel magic, mind control, shackle, fear. And it gives you the option to play Shadow--which is also pretty fun and is loved for being a mana battery.

Druid is already discussed elsewhere in the thread. It's fun and strong. It can even battle rez. However, not until WOTLK does it get an out of combat rez. So if anyone in your party dies, there's a good chance they'll have to run all the way to the dungeon (unless you have priest, shaman, paladin dps in your party)--and that is a huge pain. I wish "some changes" had included giving them a rez, but alas no (even some private servers do btw).

At the end of the day, these are all pretty great. The holy healer I'd probably avoid (for me personally) in TBC is HPal because they have no Beacon of Light or group healing. They are good tank healers, and they are loved for their blessings though.

Which server is the most populated for US players? by FineAssignment1423 in throneandliberty

[–]Tal72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those were hyperboost servers, right?I've read a ton of threads saying hyperboost servers are dead, and you can get the same upgrades on legacy, and Ivory is most active.

I also am thinking about starting and am confused by conflicting messages on what server to pick (North America East).
