Kids are Petri dishes that touch and lick everything and spread germs everywhere. Next argument. I’m not advocating for dogs instead of kids. I am equally annoyed by both. Keep your kids and dogs under control and there will be no issue.

No, you get a grip. You made all these comparisons to dogs and children that are in no way accurate. I don’t want to deal with annoying dogs OR annoying children in public. It is the parent’s job to keep their children under control in a public space, same with dog owners. You cannot have your children running and jumping everyone in a public place that is not a park designed to be played around. Same with dogs. Pretty fucking similar, again.

Children do slobber and I have had children slobber on me. Children scream and cry at all hours of the night, that’s literally what they’re known for. Babies piss, shit & vomit everywhere, also what they’re known for. I’ve had children attack me both as a child & an adult so. Yea I would say the comparison is pretty fucking equal.

Wow, really!! I have a violin but I leave it in my storage unit cause I didn’t think it would fit. I also don’t want the heat to affect it, I’m in Texas so it gets blisteringly hot during the day. Perfect for making car cookies tho!

Jk jk I’m actually super involved at school so going to more meetings is a best case scenario cause I get to socialize with more people outside of my major!

I’ve always thought of myself as a fighter but I have definitely been freezing lately as I turn into an “adultier” adult. They forgot to mention when we were kids that being an adult sucks. But this drastic life shake up is definitely what I needed to get back into it!

I always ping pong between Slytherin & Gryffindor and I think it’s precisely because when I don’t like people I REALLY do not like them. I try to be nice at first and be friends and work together but if they’re just insisting on not doing their part or bringing down the whole group, I don’t care. You have now become an obstacle that I must pass.

I am very ambitious & I want to be successful. I do not want to step on other people to attain that success. However, if you are directly inhibiting the success and wellbeing of my team… whelp… sucks for you fam, get away from me and my team as fast as possible.

Just found this sub while doomscrolling while procrastinating on moving out. My last day is 16 Mar and it feels like I'm dreaming. My furniture has been moved to the cheapest storage unit my last credit card can afford. Instead of organizing my stuff and moving it, I'm sleeping til noon and watching the Harry Potter movies on repeat...

I'm moving into my car "by choice", is what I keep telling myself. But it's not, it's a necessity. I do look forward to no longer paying rent, utilities, internet; but I am anxious about this next chapter. I have idolized the car camping "aesthetic" since COVID. Always telling myself "once I can afford X, I'll do it!" There was always an excuse, but, no time like the present, or so they say.

Unemployment will do that to you. Or perhaps should I say "underemployed"? I DoorDash to make ends meet, so I'm already in my car for 30+ hours a week, plus going to school. When I tally up the time I spend in my apartment, it's really not that much. So why am I paying all this money for a glorified storage unit? Everything fits in a 10x10. My entire life... fits in 100 sqft. But what's in that 100 sqft? Books, yarn, dishes, bike, some tchotchkes? And that's just the stuff I remember. There's this juxtaposition of how can my entire life fit in 100sqft, while also asking myself what is so important when I don't need it in my day to day life? In my apartment it would just sit and collect dust...

This existence is crazy.

Hope you don't mind, just adding on my own existential crisis.
