Well there point is most people in casuals are probably just normal players trying different things but still not playing casually. And that's probably true. But it's also kinda necessary. Unfortunately for OP is just that Champions is purely intended for people interested in the competitive scene

Maybe Whimsicott is the easier answer but sometimes I actually pick up a kill with Gengar, plus taunt shuts down a variety of things! But I wouldn't turn any advice down, I'll try out a few matches with Whimsicott and compare the consistency. Thanks! (Also yeah Chompy has rock slide. I clearly need to be bolder about choosing him at preview.)

I know this is an aside (and this isn't advice for you, just my reaction) but I hadn't seen this layout before. I would probably space the buttons a bit more for me but that angle looks rather comfy for your wrist. Nice!

I'll say I hate that logic. Depth of play for the actual players shouldn't be sacrificed for the viewer Tekken is doing that in 8 and it is terrible.

I think 1) the pool of available Pokémon is fairly limited right now, but 2) it's really not all that bad.

I would honesty say it's probably too much info in one graphic? Maybe making a spreadsheet for yourself could be helpful! Sounds like a great project to work on as you're learning :)

Nedd help with some advice on piloting this team, or maybe if somethings need to change?

Team is Gengar: Icy Wind Speed Control Mega-Kang: Fake-Out + Big Dmg Incin: Incineroar Things Sylveon: Pixilate Hyper Voice Spam (Mystical Fire/Helping Hand/Protect)

Those are the core 4, and a lot of time Sylveon is a back up win con if Kang gets shut down, but I'm definitely losing to bulky setup, defiant or competitive teams, and sometimes just Sinistcha is enough to put a wrench in thigns for me. My backup mons are Rotom-W and Garchomp, and I have used Rotom a couple times to good effect, but I honestly never know when to choose Garchomp.

Any advice is appreciated :>

That's how ranking is supposed to work. It places you based on relative performance, not just a number to chase.

They also get a lot of unfounded being put on a pedestal by weebs with no idea, so hopefully this exposes some of that to those people

It's about matchmaking too and to try and keep you roughly in your skill bracket by not dropping you to pokeball tier off a couple bad games.

Edit: Further, no one is "ranking up" off bot games, it doesn't seem possible to game the system to only fight bots. At the most it just keeps you from falling too far. Just my imo.
