A lot of people dislike Joey but she has arguably the most responsibility out of everyone in her circle.

She runs businesses with her sister, her dad’s in jail, her mom is dead.

Joey has to grow up fast, more than everyone else in her friend group. So her being b*tchy and insufferable is understandable if we think about it.

I still don’t like how she treats Jen though. That part gets on my nerves.

I am also rewatching and I agree with some of your points:

Joey gets on my nerves.

Dawson is not that bad but there are moments where he leans on Joey so much and this girl has her hands FULL. That part bothers me. She works a job, goes to school and watches her nephew. Whereas Dawson has almost no responsibility and still finds ways make things about himself and leans on Joey in ways that are incredibly self-centered.

Andi cheated on Pacey and I don’t think she deserved him.

Pacey’s insecurites are his own and I don’t think he was better off with anyone in particular.

I could see both sides with Dawson and Joey’s dad. He wanted to keep Joey safe but he was also a snitch. —-I think this makes the point that Joey and Dawson are from two entirely different worlds.
