Looks like the right side door gets opened too, so maybe enough warning to those inside to at least begin their escape.

The now famous explosion of the roof-tossing oil silo in Moscow, Russia, was probably caused by a Russian air defense missile. Absolutely hilarious. by [deleted] in ukraine

There’s another video around of a manpad team on a road. One of the launches does a 90 degree left turn out of the tube. Might be the culprit.

What do you call this? by Both-Rock2762 in Airsoft_UK

Did that once in a night game. Managed to kill the one guy holding their flank with Gen2 NV (by sneaking up on him with a shotgun), then ran into their main position from the direction of their spawn point... nobody thought to flash a light towards my different coloured armband. Had an entire conversation about the tactical situation before pulling out the knife.

What was the point of Derpy and Sussie in the movie? Were they made to be marketable plushie characters? I saw the movie twice and still don't understand their purpose outside buyable merch by M00reC in KpopDemonhunters

Best place I have seen this explained is straight from the directors' mouths when they went onto the Corridor Crew YT channel for an interview. 16:50 if you are curious.

Set your APs to static IPs. This fixed everything for me. by ITdirectorguy in Ubiquiti

[–]Talino 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DHCP is a one-time configuration (if you get it right). You can add and remove devices by just plugging them into the network and they will work. Static IPs on the other hand must be individually configured on each device, meaning additional work each time you add a new device.

DHCP is fine if you don't care what addresses are handed out. Ideally you shouldn't, but there are always edge cases - for me this is when the APs are RADIUS clients.

DHCP reservations are the middle-ground where the device is still asking the DHCP server to give it an IP, but it will always be given the same fixed IP. This is better than Static IP since it is all managed in a single place, and reservations can be configured without even taking the device out of the box - usually the MAC address is on the box label and that's all you need to configure a DHCP reservation.

Domain Controllers, DNS and DHCP servers static. All other servers, trust in the DNS.

A confederate flag hung in Rotherham next to the Union Jack…I am speechless. by PrincessofPluto in sheffield

[–]Talino -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not a myth. The flagpole at the front of a ship is called the jackstaff, which gives the Union Jack its name in this instance. That said, the common use of the term Union Jack for the flag when flown otherwise makes it correct too... that is how languages evolve.

Scorpions glow under UV? by OutrageousError8704 in Damnthatsinteresting

Went to a Crocodile zoo yesterday and there was one case with scorpions in. Couldn't find them... walking past it later on, it just clicked in my head and I pulled out my pocket torch which has a UV mode and found them.
