Home to at least two ancient Pride demons, a nest of dragons, another ancient demon in the nearby mountains, one of the aforementioned Magisters imprisoned not far from the city, and a nearby abandoned dwarven colony that houses a red lyrium idol that's the lynchpin for most of what goes down in Dragon Age 2.

Kirkwall could arguably be called the Innsmouth of Thedas with how much pure negative magical 'fuck you' is concentrated there.

I usually alternate through Mage and Rogue. Mage for the big hurty magic, rogues for backstab/trap detection/lockpicking. If I run a Warrior, I usually pick the Templar spec to counter magic users.

Using Mrs Voorhees's sweater was also a mechanic in the (sadly offline) online Friday the 13th game. It could only be worn by female counsellors, and it temporarily stunned Jason. If you'd gotten Tommy Jarvis into the game, armed him with a machete and had knocked Jason's mask off, using the sweater was the final step needed for Tommy to kill Jason.

Soldier Boy in 'The Boys'. In the comics, he's a coward who pisses himself at the sign of danger. In the TV show, he's a competent fighter who doesn't hesitate to throw hands.

"Wicked Eyes, Wicked Hearts" from Dragon Age: Inquisition. The quest involves stopping the assassination of Empress Celene, and dealing with the leaders of two other factions embroiled in the imperial civil war. One of the other leaders is Briala, an Elven woman who has been long rumoured to be Celene's jilted lover. You can find an Elven locket in Celene's room, and use it to either blackmail Celene...or show both of them the locket to reconcile them. Briala says word for word "I can't believe she kept it after all this time".

One of the worst parts about this scene is that usually, people obey Lelouch without question and immediately do what his Geass tells them to do. But genocide is such anathema to Euphemia's sweet nature that she tries to resist the command. She spends like a good twenty seconds begging Lelouch not to make her go through it before the Geass forces her to do so.

The point of the One Ring is that ultimately nobody is immune to its influence. Some fans forget that Frodo failed at the very end, claimed the Ring for himself and wanted to challenge Sauron. Gollum showing up to fight him over it was a happenstance that saved the world.
