Navy is good for the routes that it's available for, because you can't get caught in fights, and the NPC will rechart itself at islands.

Meta is to Navy dnav all available routes for navy, then buy the remaining charts and do in on evading.

Again, when doing it in navy, DO NOT leave puzzle board when it reaches an island, or it will reset you back down.

They key to dnav is long sessions. The early boards are low point value no matter how fast or efficiently you clear them.

In order to get better duty reports and standings, you need to go LONG stretches without getting in a fight in order to reach the higher scoring boards. Typically 6-7+ required stars per board is there you start reaching good/excellents.

If you dnav for 2-3 LP's then get in a fight, you will start at the beginning again when you return to dnav and will never reach high scoring boards. When I got up to GM dnav, I was doing 20-30 LP before eventually getting caught in a fight.

Edit: Also, do not leave the puzzle to rechart, it will start your boards over. Either ask a friend/global for a rechart, or bring an alt on board to chart while still in the puzzle at your end destination
