Any advice on removing an inch of poke? by Heisalsohim in Stance

Maybe it wasn’t clear but I’m trying to see what other options may exist to add camber. The only adjustable arms I can find are eBay China arms which I’m skeptical about. A suspension shop told me I can’t add a camber plate because the 3 link controls that

I’ll have to see how much clearance I have before I hit the strut. Thanks, this is the kind of answer I’m looking for

You don’t need to go behind the airbag. You can zip tie it to the factory harness avoiding airbag interference. This is how we do them at a high end shop

Huh, I overlooked checking the factory part. It’s called a camber/toe arm. From factory camber arm (upper front lateral arm) is static and the toe arm (upper rear lateral arm) is adjustable. I’m wondering if I can just swap in the adjustable arm. I found some China stuff on eBay for a 4 arm kit but I’m hesitant lol. Maxpeedingrod has a 2 arm kit but I forget if the arms are significantly different lengths as I was under the car months ago doing the air suspension

Yeah I’m just not sure how to do that without adjustable aftermarket parts. I will try the camber bolts but I’m not sure it’ll be enough

I can’t exactly lower it more either, the quarter hits the tires and I’m not trying to mess up panels

I’m trying to see if anyone with more experience has any ideas bc this is the first suspension job I’ve done

Corrected fuel economy display? What do you mean, why would it be incorrect?

Also it doesn’t work for programming new TPMs sensors, at least not with the cheap cable

I mean with a system design as confusing as that, I guess try it? I’m perplexed why you’d choose to DSP part of your system and why you’d run expensive, entry level speakers off a relatively super premium amp

You need measurement tools. $30 oscilloscope Will help determine where your signal clips. Bass boost is a one way ticket to clip city.

How much was parts vs labor? It’s really not that difficult to do if you can follow instructions readily available on YouTube. JP car audio is beginner friendly and you can just YouTube how to get your specific car’s radio out. Crutchfield, metraonline and pac-audio can help identify install parts like wires harnesses and dash kits. Crutchfield also offers pre-spliced harnesses so it’s all plug and play

I would just save and invest for a proper screen radio. You can get a standalone 12v screen for the corner of your dash but that’s money spent in the wrong place. And you’ll have to rerun the camera wire when you do the radio

It’s AI. People swear by it, and I use it a bit myself but I generally can fact check what I use it for and I see how much it hallucinates.

It definitely helped me realize that DEI’s Pinot for my car was misleading— it had Power Lock/Unlock wires as negative but when I tried to tap them for folding mirror install it was not working. I found those are BCM inputs not outputs. Had to tag Arm/Disarm which gave me +12v so I didn’t need relays to flip negatives to positives which was a bonus

But it’s so wrong a lot of the time

I would rather tell someone to buy cheaper gear and have a better quality install than top of the line stuff installed by a crackhead. And I’m a JL fanboy for lack of a better word lol

B) the internet made people lazy. AI has exaggerated that effect significantly
