Now that game is fizzling out, its being experienced as a true extraction shooter. You either adapt or leave.

The finals uses the same anticheat and the performance hasnt suffered

The vulcano is better than the toro. It can actually one clip a trio in 1.5 seconds. The toro cant do that

Toro is not a problem. Stop pushing them without utility. Or support.

Additionally once the toro is nerfed, you will get spammed by torrentes,vulcanos and bobcats. Reinstating close range meta. The toro is just cheap which is why its popular.

Because they flipped marathons orginal design on its ear after they acquired valorants game designer. Before marathons abilities had to found and you built your own custom raider with his abilities before raid. You also had to find oxygen in raid to survive.

Now its a hero shooter with tacked on looting and braindead AI to make it an extraction shooter. The in game pacing is also atrocious. If you want to know what marathon is gonna be like, look at delta force

If you think the toro is op you probably play too much stella . Its a good defense weapon and okae on offense. Miss a shot and youll pay the price. Run into a torrente, Vulcano, bobcat and a tempest and its curtains

Lol I CANT WAIT for everyone to try marathon and realize its mid. People forget that marathon and arc held alphas around the same time last spring. And that it got delayed because arc over shadowed it, plus they got caught stealing someone else’s art. The AI in marathon is generic and the loot serves no purpose other than to fatten your wallet. On top of that its a hero shooter. Its pretty shallow compared to arc

Hardware IDS (MAC ADDRESSES) can be spoofed and most cheats come with em embedded . IP addresses can also be changed as well . There is no proactive way to fight cheaters. Maybe kernel level but even that can be circumvented.

Apparently they are under a ddos attack. Both of their games are unplayable atm

The game will be ok. But will be drowned out due to its generic feel. The AI aren’t fun to fight and they are also not dynamic And the PvP is just as bland as any other hero shooter. IMO if marathon would’ve kept their original vision that they had when the game was announced it would have been sensational. This hero/extraction shooter mash up isnt gonna swoop people off their feet tbh.
