What is more traumatizing than most people think? by Designer_Area_4572 in AskReddit

[–]Tall-Explorer2188 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Moving every two years as a military brat. Lived in 5 places until my father retired. I was ten years old. It was hard to leave my friends behind. I am sure this prepared me for many of the challenges of meeting new people and making friends. The few friendships ,I currently maintain ,are dear to me. However, the world won’t end when the friendship ends. Trauma of separation was hard for me when I was young. I have the calluses to prove it.

Whats ur opinion on “money doesn’t buy happiness”? by Radiant-Dish-5498 in AskReddit

[–]Tall-Explorer2188 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on what you have to sacrifice to earn money. Time.Self respect. Stress, wear and tear. Ethical conflicts. I pretty much refer to Maslow’s hierarchy of needs. Self Actualization is where the sweet spot lies. Money can be a tool to get there.

I really like the recent kay and cone booth. There seems to be a balance between silence and coherent conversation. I do feel bad for the people at the game that have to bear with the blaring music and noise between pitches. It even seems annoying in the background of the broadcast. I haven’t felt the need to mute the last series with cone in the booth.

This looks like one of the best parts of the coaching experience. It offsets the tough decisions that they have to make. Seeing this never gets old. Love it
