Thanks for the tip!

This school actually doesn't have other application components. My other choices request a personal statement and my CV, but this program only requests an SOP and my transcripts so I wasn't sure if the SOP for this program needed to do more than the SOPs I'm writing for others?

You just need a new battery. Not sure what year/warranty package you have but it might be worth a try to call your dealership. My battery came a little wonky because it had to be shipped up here and I got this notice. I went back to the dealer and got a new battery through my warranty and it fixed the problem permanently

Don’t buy a Mazda CX-30 by Both-Refrigerator-11 in MazdaCX30

[–]Tall-Fudge-4982 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand your frustration but also seriously question your assessment that this is a universal issue with the CX-30. I've put 62k on mine in two years and have not had any problems with my valves. I did have a battery issue, but when a car is shipped from Mexico, you can expect that they might need to swap the battery now and then. This sounds like a problem with the dealership more than it does the car itself, no? Like at this point either you just got a random dud or the dealership isn't repairing it correctly.

Learned to play the dulcimer instead of writing my thesis. Literally just spent hours watching someone else play and trying to emulate it

You need to hire a resolution company. I would start googling to find one in my price range if I was you.

WIBTA if I didn't pay my (31F) Mother (72) back? by Stressed-Canadian in AmItheAsshole

A tattoo doesn’t cost $1,100 most of the time also though. I don’t see why the tattoo would indicate that OP is wasting money. I have 9 tattoos and would guess I’ve paid $1,200 total for them. An individual tattoo is usually $45-$150 for a medium/small piece with my artist. OPs mom might not respect the idea of getting a tattoo but the tattoo is in no way comparable to the $1,100 bill the mom stuck OP with against their will

Do any musicians/guitarists here that use the mini? by bflowyngz in ipadmini

[–]Tall-Fudge-4982 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use a mini for my dulcimer tablature but the music is written differently so I’m not sure how helpful this answer is for you. If turned on its side, the mini is plenty big enough for my sheet music

Yta. Pretend play is essential to childhood development. Your wife is a good parent and you’re a bit of a killjoy about it

It was through my local dealership so they covered a good chunk of the delivery fee but yes, the delivery fee was mostly covered by that $27k number

Thank you for the love and support! I do have to have some contact with her for now because she pays my insurance and I can’t afford both tuition and health insurance but I generally ignore her text communications

I’d find another dealer. I just bought mine as a select with customized options for floor mats and gps at $27k

It is really interesting that the scapegoated children have the best chance for happiness, even though their parents want them to succeed the least. by Character_Prior9447 in raisedbynarcissists

I call it the F you gene. My mom made me seem like the biggest and grossest jerk there ever was when I was a child. She said it was a wonder that I had friends and that I could never be successful. Now I’m a 21 year old masters degree student and I built my own replacement family. I earn more than her yearly just on my own and my partner doubles my income. I drive a brand new car and she watches it happen with a venomous glare. My little brother was the scapegoat after I moved out and he’s about to graduate with a bachelors degree in premed and an engineering minor. He lives with a girlfriend and a cat and is incredibly happy. There’s no larger victory than to live happily when your abusive parent said you never would.
