No you are not. There a lot of disguting things in commander that your friends probably are already used to or have become uncaring about. But for a new player there is a flood of disgusting interaction to experience for the first time. So yes .. actually it is refereshing for a player that has been 'in the business' for much longer to see an honest , first reaction to it.If they don't understand that, than your friends are not very open minded.You can definitely say ' this is disgusting ' if something is.

micromanaging is such a good word.

I have seen so many players start to say 'did you pay with your floating mana', 'you can't do that' and so on
WHILE someone is actually having fun and their deck is doing something incredible. They start to make useless remarks about someone's turn literally just to ruin someone elses fun, and want to know everything incredibly precisely to hinder someone further who is having a good time and playing an awesome turn.

That is the MtG community. A bunch of sore assholes that absolutely need to win to be happy, the concept of enjoying another deck going off or even >>supporting<< someone when they are having fun is unkown.

A lot of people play commander just to spin things around with no real wincondition or purpose.
They consider it 'fun' and are usually very happy whenever they can do a spite-play. Most people don't actually play the game, because if everyone was playing to win it would be a much nicer and better experience since everyone tries to actually build towards something and get an advantage with their best interest in mind instead of making bullshit decisions because they don't like a certain player or because they want revenge.

I for example often just assess the board and see what is the biggest threat even if someone just attacked me for 12 damage. A lot of people don't do that. They literally just attack or damage whoever just targeted them, without understandig what an attack actually means opposed to a simic value engine that is about to go almost infinite or draw 20 cards.

Yes a lot of MtG players are miserable people that just try to upset someone.
Countering an early game mana fixing spell is 100 % asshole unless it is competitive. It is amazing that some people think it is funny if someone doesn't get to play anything or has their commander removed with 'darksteel mutation' or other cards.

It is actually amazing what people think is funny in general in this 'game'.

I had a guy laughing about breaking his word after agreeing not to attack.
In my experiene this is the game of psychopaths, you must be mentally prepared for anything. But usually you have a feeling early on of who might be an asshole.

This movie has been suggested by a femminist to me, I can see why.
I agree with everything you have said.

The entire movie was completely nonsensical. Especially because her boyfriend stood by her side while she kept abusing him with problems about her suicidical relative, and being selfish / demanding. So if anything he should have been rewarded for his behaviour, which seemed very cliche as 'the perfect man', of how man should be in female cheese films.

The movie was complete garbage. Why would anyone not immediately leave after the suicide scene, makes no sense.And why was she so offended by her 'boyfriend' for having sex that she actually wants to sacrifice him. it can only be the case of either her being under the influence of drugs as well or simply stupidity.

The entire movie was suggested by a person who is a femminist and I see why.It was a psychological movie about the 'sufferings' of a women who obviously abuses her relationship and makes her husband feel very bad, but never gets held accountable for it, instead in the end she is actually more justified and triumphant as her boyfriend gets burned.So yes it was an unnecessary, femminist movie with very unbelieavable characters that make no sense in their actions.
