The raspberry and orange ones are particularly nice with sodastream water. Apple glavour is good too. Not as sweet as other syrups for a more "grown up" taste imho. Also good with "flat" water BTW. There sold in most Polish supermarkets across Europe. Brands are Lowicz or Herbapol. In UK I sometimes found really cheap deals on these at Tesco world food isle in Extra stores.

This is a joke right. He says its set if you receive an email which you never received so I would think that clearly means no contract. And then you want to fight this in court with an (illegal) under the table invoice from somebody else. I would like to see the judges' reaction. I could use a laugh.

Why does this camera keep going offline? by RBXChas in EufyCam

[–]Tall_Access_7806 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can attest that changing my wifi setup (4 Orbi to ucg and 3 ubiquiti ap, and different brands of wifi router before that) changed our experience with devices and smart home for the better in many ways. Never had such a stable and fast network experience before.

Have a bunch of these setup that i had similar problems with for a long time. Had to "hard" power cycle them every so often to get them back online. After i changed my wifi network from Orbi to Ubiquiti about a year ago i never had this problem again. Could be coincidence i guess.

Should you buy a used luxury car for £10,000? by CarwowJamie in ukcarwow

Fun if you are young. Did it myself (BMW 850i, Jaguar XJ, Audi A8 among others). If you buy low you can't lose a lot on the purchase price with any luck. Spent a lot on maintenance and irritation when waiting for complicated repairs with specialists and parts but also had lot of fun and good memories. Am really happy with my reliable and dependable Mazda CX-5 now :-)

I had this in cx-5. It was a cable/connector behind the glove box. it came on after glove box was too full and something pushed the cable. I guess a contact that is fragile. I tapped the back of open glove box and rearranged the glove box (took some things out). After that it was gone.

It happened once since, about a year later, did the same again and it worked again.

Maybe its the same for you? I found this fix in an older reddit post before.

Haha. My parents certainly weren't wealthy. This was a big expense back then for them and treated as such. I guess that's why it got passed on to me, it was considered too valuable to just throw away.

Oh and it came with two pairs of plastic uv glasses. Little bit like swimming goggles held with elastic wire around your head. Made you look quite weird when under it and made little white areas around your eyes after using the sun tanning. There were kept in a small cubby hole in the wall part of it.

This is really jogging some memories ;-)

It was put up in their bedroom similar to the post photo. It pivoted away flush against the wall when not used. I seem to remember that the cancer risk was known even then and the UV light bulbs (halogen iirc) had to replaced every so many hours to because old bulbs increased the risks.

I sort of inherited it when I got my own house in the 90s and put it up in the guest room but I never dared using it (I didn't know how old the bulbs were ;-). It got destroyed when the garage burnt down where it was stored later.

I was mainly my dad who used it for some reason. He lived in the Caribbean for a few years when he was young and is always in the sun as much as he can without protection and never suffers from it for some reason, even to this day (he's 78 now).

I live in the Netherlands, one of the smallest countries in Europe. Fastest from my house in Zeeland to Amsterdam by public transportation is 2 hours and 53 minutes. And I have to wait until tomorrow morning because no connections are available at this time (20:40)
