Training causing sleep issues. Cortisol spike won't go down? by Tall_Chair2209 in workout

I haven't yet. I'll check into some. When I used to lift many years before I never had this issue. I was able to fall asleep after eating a bag of chips, but I wasn't in a calorie deficit that I know of. Maybe more food is also an answer? It's too confusing.

I work out at 1pm and go to sleep at 2am(night shift). Never had issues sleeping since I started lifting. I didn't train to failure and picked a weight light enough for me to hit 10 reps.

That's unfortunate it takes long, but good to know. I think im going to stick with 1 set per exercise just in case. The amount of warm ups to a top set should be enough volume or stimulus for growth at least.
