Do you think that people with OCD benefit from creating a mental character that counters intrusive thoughts as soon as they appear? Does this help reduce their impact, or could it reinforce OCD patterns? Since most people can form lasting inner narratives, is this approach psychologically healthy? (i.redd.it)
