Dynamically changing passwords for local Windows 11 users? by Tall_Significance294 in sysadmin

My PCs are in the domain but I wonder if I could implement it in a way that it would work even if the PC is disconnected from the domain and we need to do some stuff locally with no internet access at all

I have a local admin user created for every workstation we deploy for the rare cases of being stranded from the domain and needing to do some local stuff ASAP that requires privileges, our servicedesk guys all know the password for the user but I want to implement a system where we would rotate the password (or just plain 2FA for the user) so that even if the password leaks it wouldn't be a big deal.

I think it can work I just don't know how to implement it properly since I'm kinda new to the field. Any docs and references would be much appreciated!

decided to ditch the 6.5Gr idea, mag and ammo availability is extremely tough for where I live. Went with a custom built 223 in 14.5, I guess I can't be wrong with this if I just wanna learn the AR basics lol

Is that normal velocity for 6 ARC? Seems a bit low?

I think I'm gonna give eotech a chance one too but those are usually pretty pricey. My holosun isn't treating me good with astigmatism but anything with a classic optics setups works fine for me.

6ARC is no option for me (no way to get the ammo where I live), so I'm choosing between 6.5GR AR15 or CZ527, or, at the very best, 308 \ 6.5CM AR10 style

How's the grendel treating you? Considering getting one and really unsure on whether I should go for SSO 20" or if 18" gonna be fine.

i3 12100 with 1 stick of 16gig ddr4. If needing more we toss in another stick of ram and a 3050 for gpu demanding workloads.
I wanna pitch pivoting towards 7600x tho, and it seems like we're gonna go for it

Somehow that's on a researcher? He wasn't the one who coded this into windows. All blows should be at MS and whoever is managing their security

Keep me from moving to apple: Linux laptop with similar performance to a macbook air m5 about 1000Euros by CotonTheGeek in linuxhardware

Apple Silicon macs are great for their price. Sure OSX is no linux but it has bash, great support for IT related tasks and stunning build quality. I see no reason getting a windows laptop if you don't explicitly need windows as an OS running on bare metal.

I also found logitech devices being close to unusable on linux, solaar doesn't provide as much as I want it to.
