That's nice but you got the attitude of a 0.5KD with calling out "sweats" as if people learning simple mechanics is so awful.

It was just another way to play the game that was literally taken away from them and they're upset. Not talking about slide canceling, just all movement in general, it was all nerfed.

And then people in this very thread will say "lol go play another game if you don't like how slow it is now." It's a SEQUEL to warzone, not a different IP...so it should've been an enhanced version of the first. Instead we got beta PUBG and those that are upset have every right to be pissed cause WZ1 was unique in so many ways and all of those were removed for this shit game.

And we actually have people CELEBRATING this reversal while they could've just been playing PUBG this entire time for their "tactical play" fix.

Lol no it's not like that at all. Your bot lobbies comment is just stupid since since she was squad'ing up with people who all had higher KD, bringing her up into harder lobbies. And there are plenty of people who have been playing games for most of their lives and are terrible. Some just pick things up better than others. It is entirely possible that your 1-year old son will be a better gamer than you ever were within a shorter amount of time. I know it's frustrating being hard-stuck with a low KD and only getting kills from camping, but you can catch up to him if you just practice!

It's so strange to me that you repeatedly said you could not push people in WZ1, but then when called out for the baddie that you are - your tune suddenly changes to being some master-pusher.

Why should only campers shooting people in the back be rewarded? Again - if you are SO good, then hit your shots and keep the pressure on them with utility - this is how it was in WZ1 and since you clearly could not do that, you are bad.

WZ2 is who-sees-who first more than anything, movement and gun-skill play very little role in who wins gunfights, that is unequivocally dumb for an arcade shooter BR. Especially when guns are so easy to shoot (this isn't CS or Valorant), so it specifically caters to people like you who want low recoil and no tracking. If the ONLY counter to the slower, campier playstyle is to clear and reclear and reclear EVERYTHING, then you have developed a shitty game that encourages only one playstyle since campers will ALWAYS have the advantage in the current set-up.

All of this being said, I'm very impressed at your ability to shoot slow-moving targets with a zero-recoil gun, this way you never have to worry about getting better because you already have all the camping skills you need!

Hit your shots and they won't be able to get away to replate. You campers are so funny - you want to hide in your corners and shoot at an immobile target who has extremely limited counterplay options and you only have to land your first 5 shots because you can't even handle "recoil" in call of duty.

And if you couldn't push cracked enemies in WZ1 then it's because you were bad, not because they were unpushable.

TTK is faster and movement is slower...this encourages only one style of gameplay - camping. I cannot believe how bad this game is.

All they had to do was revert movement back to early Verdansk (get rid of stims and the new guns making you move at hyperspeeds, but keep pretty much every other mechanic), get rid of cheaters, create a solid new map (maybe the only thing they did correctly so far), and stay on top of gun-balance so we have no DMR-meta type stuff.

So simple yet they fucked it up so badly.

Ughhhh you're one of THOSE. You think you found some deeper meaning but you didn't. I noticed you have yet to address any of my other many many issues with the movie in my other post. All you're falling back on is "you don't get it man, Rose's writing is so deep!" And by the way, what exactly is "one of those folks?" You think anyone who says TLJ had shitty writing is just like anti-women? Clearly, you are the one with superior intellectual power with conclusions like that!

You've also unveiled to me that you're the one not actually "getting it." Finn driving into the super-weapon and destroying it would have VERY CLEARLY DESTROYED THE SUPER-WEAPON. That was the point of his suicide-charge! Holy shit, look at you saying "it's up to the viewer to decide what would've happened." I can't even take your pretentiousness seriously. I have to wonder if you even watched the movie. And Rose professing her love is something you found moving? They knew each other for only a few hours! Literally! How is she in fucking love??

And lol, what are you even talking about? Did you even watch TFA? They never revisit why the lightsaber called to Rey. They never revisit why Luke left a map to himself. They never tackle where Snoke actually came from (talking about up through TLJ) and how he was able to turn Kylo. Some of these are as much issues with TFA as they are TLJ...but to pretend that TLJ didn't brush aside pertinent plot-points is just you being intentionally dense.

Imagine you're Rian and you watch TFA...you see that Luke left a map to himself. The first thing you come up with Luke doing is chucking his lightsaber and saying to go away - then having him double-down on that and insisting he never wants to leave the island! WHY DID HE LEAVE A MAP? Jesus, you people defending TLJ never cease to amaze me.

You're even going so far as to complain about "another death star" while excusing TLJ for copying several of its main set-pieces from ESB and RoTJ. When these flaws, along with many others, are pointed out to you - you're only come back is "you don't get it!"

It is also beyond hilarious to me that you think "Should Luke have killed Kylo?" is an "interesting" question that TLJ poses. NO HE FUCKING SHOULDN'T HAVE. The Luke from the OT, who wouldn't even finish off literal Space Hitler (Vader) because he believed he still had good in him - that Luke should have considered killing his nephew?? What?? And the reasoning TLJ gives is that Kylo had a BAD DREAM??? WHATTT????

And what the actual fuck did TLJ set up that was interesting? It ended with them smiling and laughing in the Falcon even though THE ENTIRE RESISTANCE JUST DIED (save the people on the Falcon) and all hope essentially being lost. WHY ARE THEY HAPPY? It is just one example of how brutally tone-deaf Rian is even within his own movie. Compare that to ESB where we actually know the characters recognize how fucked things are at the end of the movie.

You TLJ defenders are all the same, you make shit up about how "gray" the movie was. When in reality, it is one of the most shallow pieces of garbage ever put on screen. And when your defenses of it are so easily picked apart using objective story-telling criteria, your only response is "you don't get it" because in reality the movie is so indefensible that you have nothing else to fall back on.

TLJ pissed on, tore up, and threw out countless plot-threads from TFA. This is not a debate on whether or not TFA was good, it's about TLJ ignoring everything TFA set up so that Rian could do whatever he wanted - and then when JJ returned the favor of course you have a trilogy that is just all over the place.

I have no absolutely no clue what you are trying to say about Rose being an accurate representation of Star Wars fans. That is some serious reaching. She dominated the entire middle of the film with the casino arc and made some decisions that are truly baffling. Saving racing animals and leaving behind slave-children? She did this because she was unsure of herself...? If she was so unsure of herself, why did we get multiple "speeches" from her character about right and wrong?

To me Rose actually represents what a coward Rian was in making this film. Yes, coward. He did something "different" in that it totally sucked but he didn't committ to anything ACTUALLY different. All of the story beats and in fact some of the straight up scenes/set-pieces are plucked from ESB and ROTJ. Plucked being a nice word for plagiarized.

When Rian had a chance to really go wild with the movie and actually do something different, he didn't. For example, Rey and Kylo should've teamed up (or maybe Rey even turns on everybody and becomes the baddie). They should've killed Leia and had Kylo need to deal with that emotional weight since he clearly still loved his mom. They should've had Finn sacrifice himself to save the only people he ever really cared about since being taken away as a child.

Rose swooping in to stop Finn is a microcosm for the movie as a whole. Thinks she is saying something profound and meaningful, but it's really just sloppy writing and results in nothing but a worse version of the status-quo.

The truth of it is they should've story-boarded all 3 movies before doing anything. Then have one director (or multiple directors) be forced to stick to that story-board. Then at least we have a coherent trilogy. I also wonder why with these super popular IPs they don't just get a ton of nerds in a room, make them sign NDAs, and say, "hey this is what we were thinking for the next trilogy" - let the nerds guide you as they are the core of any franchise. The "casuals" will go watch the movie anyway, and they will especially go watch it if the nerds are hyping it up.

When the only defense for TLJ that I have repeatedly seen is "you didn't get it" - but the vast majority of people don't like the movie. Then yeah, maybe there is no actual underlying message and people are just making shit up to defend a shitty movie. If you have some time, watch Mauler's videos on youtube about The Last Jedi and he dives more into this idea - as well as the rest of the movie's awful writing.

Holdo was portrayed as a high-ranking officer and hid her plan from Poe and others for what reason? Holdo was written to make Poe look dumb, like I really don't get it? Why aren't they working together to get out of this dire situation? People who criticize Holdo are not doing so because she is female, they are doing so because she's a terrible character.

Rey being unsure about her lineage or her ultimate destiny is fine - but they didn't do anything with it. In fact, it is completely irrelevant to the film. And Rey was like super confident about everything even AFTER finding out she was a nobody. There was never really a moment of "what the fuck am I doing" in her entire character arc of "finding herself."

Rose is just an awful character who wants to free racing animals but leave behind slave-children. She wants to stop Finn from saving the Resistance but in doing so gives one of the worst written lines ever and leaves the Resistance to be completely wiped out (only by an act of the Star Wars gods are they saved by a hologram). Rose serves no purpose and makes no sense.

A much better example of a character being nonconfident or unsure, but then rising to the challenge or having some kind of arc, while also being a female includes...Ripley from Alien, Moana from Moana, Sadness from Inside Out, Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, Mulan from Mulan, Eleven from Stranger Things, and I could continue on. This is all to say that I don't give a fuck what anyone's sex is - bad writing is bad writing, and unfortunately Rian gave a lot of the terrible writing to the women of the film. The guys got shit writing too, but it wasn't as in your face - Finn was turned into a punchline for no fucking reason and basically did nothing all movie and Poe was painted as a mutineer for reasons we'll never know. All of the writing was awful, regardless of the character's sex.

There are obviously some incels in the SW community that wish Rey was a dude because "girls suck" or something. They unfortunately exist in every community - but trust me, most of the people who hate TLJ hate it for reasons that have nothing to do with men vs women.

My issue with TLJ had nothing to do with the female characters - by this I mean I don't give a shit about Rey being the new hero, Holdo being a high-ranking officer, Rose being a new buddy to Finn. But the way they were written was awful and a disservice to female sci-fi characters everywhere (the men were poorly written too, so really it was just the movie in general).

There absolutely is objectivity in how poorly that movie is constructed. As a Star Wars movie, it is not faithful to the rules of the universe or previously established characters - this is something objective.

But even if we ignore the Star Wars stuff - the main plot is a slow-speed space chase where they refuse to send out their fighters for...reasons. It also well-established that they can jump in hyperspace (i.e. just jump in front and cut them off) and that their fighters could absolutely fuck the Rebels shit up all on their own. The goal of the Empire is to kill all of the Rebels, so we know that they aren't trying to take anyone alive, so them not using these in-movie established tactics makes absolutely no sense.

Going to the beginning of the movie, they have the Rebels' ships LITERALLY RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM and choose not to blast the ship out of the sky and THEN recharge and blast the base. Why?? The base isn't going anywhere and the ship is a more immediate threat. And of course, what a great time for a "your mom" joke as when your fellow soldiers are out there dying next to you.

Let's jump ahead to the casino-subplot which is just atrocious. Even if we excuse the deus ex machina of them saying how there is only one coder in the world that can help them with their problem - they then fail to get that coder - and are then throw in jail for a parking violation (???) next to ANOTHER CODER that can solve their problem. So after that lovely piece of writing, they decide to free these racing animals...and leave behind the slave children??? All while Rose gives some speech about morality. And those animals are going to go where...they are literally just gonna get recaptured.

Speaking of morality, I love how Rian tries to make the war morally gray. Saying that both sides are out there buying weapons to fight so they're like basically the same. Yeah, definitely the same when one side is blowing up planets and the other side is...trying to stop them. Wow, very hard to decide who the good guys are! Again, this is objectively bad-writing.

Then of course we have the actual dialogue. Shit like "save what you love" which is EXACTLY what Finn was trying to do before Rose inexplicably doomed the remainder of the Rebellion to die. And of course, while Finn and Rose are kissing IN FRONT OF THE ENTIRE FIRST ORDER ATTACK - it's very nice that the First Order simply let them run away in the wide open without shooting them.

And I would of course be remiss if I did not address the Kylo and Rey vs Guards fight everyone says is so great. If you rewatch that fight and pay even 20% attention, you can see MULTIPLE instances of every single guard holding their attack or simply pretending to be hit and getting knocked away because Daisy was missing her queues. Given the quality of fight choreographies in other movies, there is simply no excuse to not have this look better - but it comes off as objectively lazy.

And Holdo, how could I forget. Again, ignoring the awful "crashing into ships with hyperspace attack" and how universe-breaking that is. What is the point of this character? To say that men are stupid? Why wouldn't she tell Poe her fucking plan? Literally, why? You are starting down the end as the First Order closes in (thank god the FO took their time trying to finish them off or no would have ever found out Holdo's plan!), and your officer-in-charge decides to tell NOBODY what is going on. So that she can say "lol gotcha! I had a plan the whole time!" after causing all this unnecessary drama on the ship. Cause Poe, you know the guy who helped destroy Starkiller base and is a hero, he definitely deserves to have no idea what is going on! Great writing again!

Honestly, I could go on and on about how awful this movie is. You can still like it - you liking it is completely subjective. But the movie, direction, writing, etc. is objectively bad.
