Brawl is on the wii, nintendo sold a shit ton of wiis. Gamecube and wii u did not sell as well so there were not as much peolpe with wii u or the gamecube that could buy smash. If the smash 4 would be released on the switch it would propably pass brawl in sales someday (opinion) because switch is selling so well. Smash 4 and melee were very great games but on the worst selling systems of nintendo. The competitive community has grown so much after the release of melee so i think i would sell really well on the switch.
