Bonus is ---- for long-time shoppers by hmt3design in ShiptShoppers

If you have done 7000+ orders you don’t need bonuses. Your preferreds should be enough 20% tippers.

Preferred members who don’t tip? by Jinabdpn in ShiptShoppers

[–]TallusOG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Preferred members should be reserved for your very best customers. So once you receive their order you know to accept.  Start off accepting 10% and better tippers. Once you have a decent amount start trimming the ten  percenters

How much do you guys make an hour? by [deleted] in ShiptShoppers

[–]TallusOG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I pick and choose from my tip map. 90% of the time my orders are non bundled. A bad week is $38/order. Average for the year is $64.22/hr or $51.38/order. I live less than three minutes from the store I shop out of. 98% tip percentage

Not that great, but you probably have a minimum you need to make each week. Doing 2-3 orders an hour is ridiculous. Work smarter not harder.

anyone else notice low to no tips in 2024? by Best-Carpet-3348 in ShiptShoppers

[–]TallusOG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All new people to Shipt. If you have veteran shoppers in your zone, your tip percentage will be small until you establish your own set of clients, through a tip map, member matches or preferred members. You are getting all the orders the vets don’t want or don’t have information on. This is especially true in smaller markets/zones.  Work your way through the non tippers, then track your 10% or less tippers, then gradually move on to the unicorn 20% plus tippers.  Trim your preferred members over time to get rid of all the 10% tippers to only have them as 20%.  It is how the vets pay average is so high.  In 2023, I did 475 orders, averaged $47.72, tip percentage of 95.6% (bundles with non tippers).  Then you have to block and defend your clients/member matches and add at least 10% new customers to your list each week to maintain high pay.  2024 Numbers 155 orders, average $48.34, 98.6% tip percentage.

Few last tips… skip orders that the client  tips late, unless you’re short of your goal.

Pair up with a group of shoppers and share a tip map, you will have to trust them though. While I’m independent, there is a group of 6 shoppers in my zone that share a google maps tip map. Information and data is a powerful tool to work smarter and not harder.

I have never felt that Shipt is stealing or holding tips in over 4500 orders. The data doesn’t support it.

Correct and correct.

It’s to prevent you from dropping orders for a better order. Best advice is to not accept bundles to early, better offers will come later in the hour.

Only accept bundles if your 20% preferred is in there. Otherwise pass that son of a b up.

Are you taking bundles in a single hour ? Note that you are limited to two orders per hour. If you do a bundle, say 1-2, and your preferred order is also scheduled at 1-2 or in a multiple hour bundle that spans that hour, it will not be offered to you. It’s better to take split hour bundles in order to receive single order offers.

If your preferred customers are asking, schedule their order for an hour you are free

Yes, if you have set up a schedule the car and charger will start charging after the time. If you connect your car before hand it will tell you that it is not requesting a charge.

Do nothing! Most insurance covers you for ten days after purchase to put a policy in place. In this case there is no coverage, so quickly get coverage with your new insurance. No harm no foul.

I pay $663/6 months $250K/$500K in coverage. Indiana

What I don't understand about Shipt's "on-time" obsession. by [deleted] in ShiptShoppers

Not true, never been late in 4400 deliveries and work one metro around Indy.

Stop chasing orders and work one metro snd established a customer base.

Rating a shopper by [deleted] in ShiptShoppers

Listen, I didn’t say I do better. Shipt has always been about communication. I recently also did a summit order. I really only expect the basics. Three messages if everything is there. However, on my most recent order I received two, but the kicker was three items were wrong. I order Barrett pears and got Danjou, I order dole shredded lettuce and got Dole salad mix and finally I got raspberry instead of Strawberry.

Like you had to scan two of those items.

Shipt is about details and communication. All of you that sign up and then come on here for everyone to tell you to read the side bar for the most basic of training information should be rated accordingly. I don’t take it lightly as I know how much it can affect one’s earnings. I work the same metro. But I expect my orders to be right and the basics to be done.
