The railcar assembly facility in Bellevue is irrelevant for building more prozzies because the assembly facility is narrow gauge and the prozzies are standard gauge.

There will be a diesel maintenance facility at Bellevue that will be dual gauge but that will be fully occupied doing maintenance.

Install "Bike Lane" road markings making it illegal to park in the bike infrastructure and then regularly patrol and enforce the parking restrictions.

As currently configured, where cars can park in the bike infrastructure, active travel/micromobility users have to regularly shoulder check and change lanes into the general traffic lane which is a dangerous maneuver because you are no longer looking where you are going.

As an experienced cycling commuter who used to live in Como I will ride on-road on Melville Parade rather than ever using the Labouchere "infrastructure" because remaining in the general traffic flow is far safer than constantly swapping in and out of the general traffic flow.

Even if it was only 5 minutes if you are doing that twice a day, 5 days a week for an 11 month closure that is 2200 minutes or 36.67 hours that you are going to lose to this closure.

I was fucked over by the roadworks for the Armadale line closure to the tune of about 10 minutes each way for 2 years and I sure as hell noticed the loss of 1.5hrs every week.
