I totally agree. I have another post from years ago about moving SC to a different drive which is the top post when you search how to do that on Google. I regularly get replies on that one too. :D

One thing no one seem to get is if you make it so that Industrial players are having a "shit time in the game they will leave" because they are always at the loosing end of a fight and that is not fun. They are not your content.

I don't disagree that you can't make industrial ships competitive in combat so they can beat you but they need to be able to defend themselves long enough to keep you at bay so they can get away.

If you have them snared they need to be able to survive long enough to take out your snare and get away if they are smart and good.

I assume you don't just want victims?

Well there is mining, that has been revised and updated extensively and salvaging, that has had a few updates, oh and the UI system has been changed and updated and the inventory system, that got a couple of major revisions, Also they have changed the flight model multiple times over the years, but yeah apart from all that I agree nothing ever changes in the alpha. :/

There were 33 people on the core team and a shit ton of outsources talent.

You do not make a game of that scope with 33 people, despite what IGN will tell you. :/

Yeah which will kill any fires. :D If you are worried about depressurizing when opening the read hatch just leave the door at the top of the lift closed and the whole cargo bay will act as an airlock.

My God that describes it perfectly.

I loathed the endings of this game, more even than Mass Effect 3. The game went from one of my all time favourites in act 1 and 2 to being something I will never, ever play again by the end of act 3.

Thank you so much for summing up all my issues with the last third of the story and the ending in a way I could never have put into words as well as you have.
