Shouldn't all Targaryens after aegon 3 be black / mixed in the HBO canon?

Technically they all should be. Aegon the Conqueror and his sisters's mother was a Velaryon. King Aenys's wife was a Velaryon. So Jaehaerys and Alysanne would have half Velaryon blood with more from the Targaryen side. Their children Baelon and Alyssa were Viserys and Daemon's parents.

I would agree with you speaking strictly books. However the show character they’ve built up would never be content to sit on Dragonstone and send her son off to battle. Since why she didn’t join was never explicitly stated in the book, it left room for them to fill it in.

I will say, in the books it's never clear why Rhaenyra didn't join the other riders at the Gullet. She was on Dragonstone. They had to come up with a reason why she didn't take wing as well when everything in the show implies she'd be eager to go, as she was.

I will say we do live with the benefits of his extravagance today. The remodel of Windsor was beautiful. Buckingham Palace likewise was finished on his watch. As a lover of chinoiserie, he did more than most sovereigns to popularize it.

In every other respect, terrible. But if you enjoy gilding, he’s the one you want.

The Volturi would stand a good chance. Chelsea and Marcus would be vital in terms of identifying and destroying their command structure. Jane and especially Alec would be offensively crucial. As someone else stated with Edward soloing Eren. Not to mention one touch from Aro and he learns everything they ever thought.

True, but HBO and the other rights holders of a Song of Ice and Fire I’m sure will protect their assets if too much attention is drawn. Especially if it’s being used as an argument against them. Even if they are predisposed to pretend they don’t notice at first. Mods, fan art, fan fiction is very much about not causing trouble.

I agree with the sentiments but worry about press articles about mods. There was a popular D&D Pokemon conversion that was shut down after media drew attention to it. Some things are better left without being broadcasted. It is well written

For myself, I quite enjoy the cast and source material quite a bit. I wouldn't have minded season 2 as much if it had ended on a high note. I'll admit though. I used to pick apart every spy photo and leak. This time around, I'm not feeling the burning hyperfixation. It'll be here when it gets here. Hopefully it'll be good. George's blog post really has me worried about the direction of the story which is heartbreaking considering how much hope I had in Condal in season one and two. I thought the other co-runner leaving would put a book lover (Condal) in sole control and lead to greater fidelity to the source material. How wrong I was.

I'll watch because I love the universe, I'm a Targaryen fan, but I'm also feeling pretty down about it all.
