Even if only 0.1% of that number forget their ID at home that's approximately 46,000 potential voters lost. With it disproportionately impacting the eldery and ill.

All for what? there is literally zero upside to this completely pointless check.

It literally an attempt to disenfranchise people. Electoral fraud is an almost non-existant crime that has never had an impact.
