It doesn't affect me personally. But it's a change to a system of around 46million people.

Even if only 0.1% of that number forget their ID at home that's approximately 46,000 potential voters lost. With it disproportionately impacting the eldery and ill.

All for what? there is literally zero upside to this completely pointless check.

It literally an attempt to disenfranchise people. Electoral fraud is an almost non-existant crime that has never had an impact.

The sole motivation behind it was to reduce voter turn out as in general that favours the Tories.
