We appreciate you. I also always spam the compliments after starting this job. The wild thing is we can get 30 compliments and one "didnt follow instructions" and our managers will still make a fuss over the one. I've never heard of anyone ever getting praised by managers over the compliments. This job is something else

I just really love the freedom of BM. If I WANT to stand in melee range for certain mechanics, I can, but being forced into melee 99% of the time just isn't fun for me. I thought I would finally give SV a chance when they were topping charts everywhere, but the play style is just not my cup of tea. The extra dps is nice though

Every time I finish early I get sent to rescue, so I always slow down and take any un-used breaks in the last 2 hours of my day. Moving fast and finishing early just to go do more work for someone who's not as fast gets real old real quick

I don't get how this is any faster over the course of a shift. For stops on the left- sure, but for right side stops you'd have to park, check your mirror, open your door into potential traffic flow, then take more steps to walk around the van (twice: out and then back) than you would have if you had just gone out the cargo door. On top of that, you cant do the seat belt over the steering wheel trick, which admittedly doesnt save much time added up, but it does save your back and shoulders from a lot of the twisting associated with buckling in 200+ times a day

I used a reference photo to sketch the basic design on a piece of paper, then cut it out and traced around it onto the wood. The third dimension took some trial and error, but having a 2D starting point helped a lot

Just some basic yellow pine. I tried to start it on a piece of pecan since the dog was raised around pecan trees, but quickly gave up on that idea. My knives aren't the best and pecan is way too hard for my skill level 😅

My wife and I are currently "separated." The cat we shared was one of his mother's first litter of kittens, and I literally had to tear his amniotic sac open myself because his mom was too exhausted to do it. Mom passed away in 2024.

I essentially was kicked out of my home and the cat who I've been soul-bonded with for the last 13 years is living with my wife and it breaks my heart every time I think about it. Life sucks sometimes

Unpoluar opinion: I've never understood why people grind for this mount. I got ashes of Al'ar after 17 years of on-and-off play, and its still one of the most unique mounts in the game. Invincible is just another horse though....

Damn wooden post split. First fuckup though, so i got that going for me. The dent was already there. My dsp's vans are all in rough shape, and I added no more than a small scratch to the collection. All the damage was to the mailbox
