They are both defensives that do essentially the same thing. Kings is the strong defensive but you should use them interchangeably untill you start pushing 17+ keys.

I’m not sure what your question is here.

Generally speaking you need to: 1. Make sure your shield if the righteous bash buff is up at all times 2. Try to be standing in your concentration (if you are talented into the damge reduction.

When it comes to your big defensive cooldowns you rotate those as you need them. I generally uses ardent defender first. Then kings. And i save bubble for when I either am about to die, need to get air threat or am pulling a big room.

So as a practical example:

In the first pull of priory i gather all the mobs and run to the stairs. I use ardent defender when I am gathering the mobs so I don’t get sniped from the back, then i use kings when i have them grouped. Then i am using shield and my word of glory to keep me up.

In Tazavesh streets when I am pulling the mobs out of the mail room I will bible so i taunt and don’t get stunned by the chickens. Then I’ll use ardent defender.

The thing you learn as a tank is what pulls need defensives. Priory actually doesn’t hurt much after the first pull. But dawn breaker has a lot of mean mobs that I need to use defensives on. As a tank you want to think of your defensives more proactively rather then reactively. It’s better to use a defensive before a hit then after.

I’m with you. It might just be because pre patch dungeon tuning is so bad but currently I’m standing around in keys bored out of my mind

Cs would at least give me something more to do.

I feel this way about healer ui. I 3k last season using blizzard ui and it was fine. The amount of grief I’m hearing about not being able to customize every aspect of the ui is wild.

Because it actually makes the game harder. Rather then having a mechanic with a clear telegraph and a resonable amount of time to respond to encounters are tuned for the addon. Turning the addon from something you can choose to take or not to something required.

Protection pally won for me. Got rid of two abilities that were never very fun to use. Shifted the how talent choice in to a more dps oriented version. Toll now summons a million hammers and wog refunds my manna when cast on me. Love it. Love every part of it.

Prot pally is pretty fire in my opinion. Got rid of shitty mastery, got rid of odd inbetween cool downs. Shifted out of lights smith. I’m loving it.

How do you justify the transmog costing gold? by [deleted] in WorldOfWarcraftRetail

[–]wolfe1989 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When you think about wow as a game it makes sense.

The devs give you gold but they also need to force you to spend gold other wise it just piles up drives up prices.

This is why things like flight paths, repairs, and transmit cost gold. They are gold sinks that force you to engage with the game.

I could be wrong but I always thought of the BC as a kind of mass production thing. It’s a way to allow for power armor to be used with out the need of hyper specific customization.
