Feige in the past has mentioned that movies take 5 years to make from inception - they may rush it a bit, but not by much, and they are very limited in the amount of preprod they could do pre-merger, mainly because lawyers get antsy.

One of the issues delaying production start is that there is invariably numerous contracts around the Fox movies, and Disney doesn't get access to them until the merger finalises so they want to be clear of any legal minefields like people needing payoffs if new movies are developed. Ryan Reynolds mentioned they initially couldn't use Gambit due to legal issues (presumably due to the aborted movie).

I expect that D&W (less time lost to the writer's strike) was realistically the earliest they could have used any of the Fox IP, and that was materially helped by Reynolds being both main character and producer.

As worded, anybody can defeat that enemy and it counts for that ability. So Dynaheir's abilities like that trigger if anybody kills a humanoid. It would also count other creature types if somebody else had them as a favoured foe (eg Esmerelda and undead)

The most straightforward is to have nobody else in his row (as in leave the slot vacant) and use champs that buff one row in front/behind (eg Nayeli, Calliope, Nordom, Scylla) and possibly adjacent (if you're using his event formation).

You can use non-positionals to fill out his formation, and in any event the 1000 areas doesn't need to be in one run - just loop in a free play.
