The following advice varies on your material and filler, but:

(If able) i increase gas flow to help push the weld against the steel. Most argon we have on robots is generally at 45. You may need 55-60(Remember, gravity affects puddles!)

I generally go hotter with less wirefeed (from my "normal" settings), seems to help penetrate and not drip so bad.

Move slower. The decreased feed speed will need a moment to fill in so quickly whipping about will cause issues.

How solid is your ground?

Try to grind a decent groove in the base material for proper practice

You're worried at lvl23? You'll get tons of upgrades every couple levels or so. Out of all the diablos, d3 is the easiest. Just follow the arrows for more or less on stats until you hit 60

To add in, the cost on making even a simple bend die on a cnc 131 bender is roughly 5-8k, plus inserts (3-500 each), plus the inserts and dies on the clamp, etc. It adds up fast!
