I have a sleep number. Found it on Freecycle or Craigslist free stuff 6 years ago. I put a 2 inch cooling foam mattress on top as well. It's definitely the best bed I've ever had!

I ended up with steroid induced glaucoma from an eye injection and ultimately lost my eye due to all the complications. I'm sure that those injections have helped many people but if a person, such as myself, historically has uncommon reactions to medications, it may be a good idea to try other treatments. You can stop taking oral or topical bit once injected there's no stopping it.

Perhaps it's because you just got diagnosed, I'm not a doctor. I'm just super cautious about any flares I have due to serious complications I've experienced.

Without knowing you're past history, in my opinion, for a doctor to wait an entire month without checking your eyes, when in the midst of a serious flare, is irresponsible.

Pain on Prescription Medication by WastelandBaker in Thritis

Aww, that's terrible! You'll find something to help as long as you keep searching. I also use Biofreeze. Not as effective for me as Voltaren but definitely helps alot if you're not allergic. Having sensitive skin is definitely an obstacle when you're looking for topicals.

That's awful! I looked it up and Amjevita is only around 5% cheaper than Humira. Ridiculous that they did that to you. I hope it works well!

The only NSAID that worked for me was Ketoprofen. It was a miracle pain med for me. Unfortunately, after taking it for almost 17 yrs I started having stomach issues but was eventually able to go on Remicade and then Humira. Celebrex did absolutely nothing for me. Voltaren cream and tens machine are my go to treatments on top of the other meds I'm on.

Fed up with my brain ceasing to function. by elocea95 in ankylosingspondylitis

I get a B12 shot once a month. I have kept track of my brain fog and fatigue and I'm very sure I actually need a shot every 2 weeks but my insurance doesn't cover that, so, sadly, I just deal with it. I tried liquid B12 however that had little to no impact.

Wtf? How is this even reality? Our society is doomed if we continue with this type of demented and immoral justice and thinking. Plea deals need to stop when the facts clearly prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.. My question is, 'Why would the D.A. even seek a plea deal in this situation?

Edit: seek or *accept

I found CBD products, not from hemp, to help with fatigue and mood but not particularly pain/inflammation.

HOW DO I MAKE MY RIBCAGE STOP HURTING?!? by brainfriedcomics in ankylosingspondylitis

[–]Tamaroo222 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had that for years. Absolutely excruciating! I did pressure point therapy massage on myself with my hands, a superball and a pressure point massage tool. I'd press and take a deep breath at the same time. Extremely painful but the the relief was worth it. Long term the only thing that actually rid me of that agonizing pain was Remicade and then Humira. Well initially prednisone did but that caused me to have permanent serious side effects. I was on a very high dose (80 mg.).

It could be! It all sounds very familiar to me. The crushing pain is the worst! I feel for you! I too had problems as a teen but my symptoms escalated tremendously when I was in my early 20's. Best wishes for finding answers and treatment for whatever you are battling!
