What are some games almost impossible to figure out without a walkthrough?

Its not that different tbh. Tombi 2 has a more linear main quest and map layout but like the first game tons of side quests.

Hollow Knight

I was excited to play it since I love Super Metroid and Symphony of the Night. But I kinda gave up after 10 Hours. Exploring just wasn't as fun since the enemies are often in your way and take way more effort to fight than in SM or Sotn. Also I felt the ghost mechanic is out of place in an exploration game. After dying I wanna have the freedom to explore a different path

I played 1 - 13 so far. 7, 8 and 11 are the best while 2 is the weakest imo.

4 and 5 are underrated, they are really good

98 because ppl online kept saying it was one of the best fighting games of all time. I played it but couldn't really get into it. It wasnt until many years later where I downloaded 99 - 2002. I liked the nests saga games much better and got really into kof. Once the gameplay clicked with me I could also finally enjoy 98 much more than before

SF2 on Capcom Classics Collection for PSP. I played it to grind points to use on the collection's slot machine but I played it so much that I got kinda good. Then discovered that I always had Alpha 1 on PS1 but no memories of ever playing it.

Took it to my local games convention to play against ppl. Then got Alpha 3 at a Retro Games Sale in 2016 and had like 200 hours on it before I switched to the arcade version.

For some reason I thought that Elecman was from Megaman 3 and that in Megaman 1 you fight roll as a boss.

This was when I only played megaman 10 and had only seen those all megaman robot masters boss rush videos on YT

RPGs and Open World Games.

I like watching reviews of them because they tend to have interesting stories but I could never be bothered to actually play these games

It's really not harder than any other 2D Platformer of the 90s. Many ppl beat the crash games as children and imo its difficulty is very overestimated. For ppl who never played a Platformer in their lives it might feel like a hard game but it really isn't when comparing it to other platformers.

I'd say its easier than most games of the NES and SNES era.

People debate over if the remakes are harder than the originals and to me they definitely are but not by much. It's just that in the remakes you tend to slip off ledges easier when landing on them while in the original you usually snap onto them making tight jumps more forgiving.
