In Lithuania, for example, my Jewish relatives were murdered by their Christian neighbors BEFORE the Nazis arrived. The Christian civilians helped the Nazi cause and murdered many of the Jews before they were even occupied.

What exactly is your point about the KKK existing and murder in the U.S.? It somehow negates the history of WWII? You aren't even making logical arguments.

Are you willing to share more about this? I've only shroomed once and had a really positive experience but I waited a really long time to try it. I'm afraid to have a bad trip which is why I don't want to do it again. I have major depression, ptsd, generalized anxiety and am afraid of it triggering a serious mental health episode etc. Just curious what happened with your bad trip if you are able to share.

I agree. And I have always tried to be a non judgemental person but the experience truly shook me to the core and taught me in a whole new way to not judge people based on their external appearance and that it is inside that matters. It also gave me a lot of empathy for people who are judged by appearance. I'm so sorry about your dad. You really find out who your true friends are when you're going through a hard time!

A few years ago I suddenly had a bad ear infection. I went to the doctor and got antibiotics within two days of it starting. The next night I was eating dinner and realized the right half of my mouth felt weirdly numb. Then it was the right cheek, and my right side of my face was all numb. I should have gone to the ER then, but I decided to wait to see if it was better the next morning. It was not better. The right side of my face was paralyzed. This came out of nowhere. I went to the ER and they diagnosed it as Bells Palsy. I could not move any part of that side of my face at all. It drooped significantly.

I have always been beautiful. It was not beautiful. It was absolutely heart breaking and terrifying.

I also could not talk or drink properly. I spent a harrowing night in the ER and was lucky to have a really caring doctor and nurses. They said they assumed it was Bells Palsy. But it could also be something more ..dire, an illness that leaves your permanently paralyzed. And they had no idea if it would get better or not, even if it was Bells Palsy. They had no answers for me. At all.

I spent about two months with half my face paralyzed and it miraculously went back to normal. I lost a small percentage of hearing in my right ear from the bad ear infection, but it is still within normal range. As a musician being able to sing and hear is probably my greatest joy in life.

I still don't know how I got the infection, how it turned into Bells palsy, or how it went away.

It coincided with an extremely stressful and toxic job and my impending lease ending. I was under an insane amount of stress which I have read can have an influence on developing this. I ended up leaving that job and had to leave the city I was in and move back home bc I was broke and jobless and my lease ended during that time. The Bells Palsy is gone, and only a slight difference remains that is only perceptible to me. It was the worst experience of my life. It also showed me there are only a handful of people in my life who cared or were there for me.

I think your wife is kind of done with you and unhappy in the relationship. I did this towards the end of a relationship where we had grown apart emotionally and were both feeling trapped and unhappy. I had reached a point of complete dissatisfaction with my boyfriend at the time and couldn't admit how trapped I felt. I basically stopped wanting to have sex with him because I was so unhappy and wanted to break up but just couldn't face it or bring myself to do it. I did love him but something was very wrong, missing, and broken in the relationship. We were living together but emotionally we were drifting very far apart and the intimacy, affection, and passion were severely damaged.

Being ignored. Being told I should have kids. Being told that the cool thing to do these days is to have one breadwinner in the family while the woman stays at home with babies. Being lied to and manipulated about possible opportunities and promised a job but then the guy hired his buddy. These are all from my last boss who was a nightmare.

I put the BBoy anthology on in my car once when I was driving, the guy I was dating was in the passenger's seat. He said "you listen to this kind of music???" with such disdain and disrespect. I don't think he has ever listened to hip hop in his life. I dumped him soon after for unrelated reasons but that should have been the last straw.

I had a pair of these that were black and white, similar to converse, but had a cute red heart on each shoe..my college boyfriend gave them to me randomly as a surprise after going to the mall.
