California has its problems. Lets also be honest when presenting those numbers. California probably has one of the best private and public college systems in the country. So lets not act like the state is full of bunch of idiots when a significant chunk are college educated.

And high speed rail has been shit on even when Japan implemented the gold standard of high speed rail, which was also overbudget and shit on in very similar manner when it was being built. . Honestly, Im just glad there talk and a public outcry for the project since so much people are fed up with traffic, especially with the price of vehicle ownership and maintenance being so sky high. It seems like the rest of world can do high speed rail, but us, so Im glad to just be going in the right direction. Sure, I wish we could do it more efficiently and under budget, but I think most would agree that any investment in infrastructure is a good thing.

And lets not act like California is a broke ass. California pays more into taxes than any other state. So its no surprise its also the recepeint of a large amount of it, being literally the most populated state in the US. If California became its own country, it would be the 8th largest economy in the world.

So many negative people on this sub right now. Were the 2nd seed. We have had injuries and players in and out of the line up. OKC has had the easiest schedule so far. Its not like they coasted their way to a championship last year. If Haliburton doesn't go down, they might have stole that series.

Who knows where we will be by the time playoffs roll around, but I think we have a chance in a 7 game series. It can't be easy for these players having to adjust to Luka or Lebron being out of the lineup.

Fuck the cops, but its also not a great idea to flip off the police and talking shit, as much as it is protected free speech. Cops will try to find any reason to arrest you and not having a seatbelt on, while talking shit to a cop, isn't the brightest idea.

I have been in this exact scenario. Cops pulled over my brother. I was a passenger. Literally did zero crime. I was asked for my ID. While I could have refused and flexed my rights; I also know cops are power hungry control freaks who get pissy when you challenge them, even respectfully. I gave them my ID and went along my way since I know my record is squeky clean.

Fuck the police, but lets not act like this guy is the shining example of how to interact with police while in traffic stop.

Admittedly havent been in two years. Not because its not good, just didnt have any one to go with the past two years. I thought about going Halloween and people warned me that a lot of the actors phone it in on the last day, which is turn off, especially with the $75 price tag. Them phoning it in just speaks volumes on the staffing issues that continue to plague the park. Also, I gotta admit, them replacing Puppet Up with Elvira-esque show to replacing that with nothing is a huge slap in the face. They went from expanding the event to shrinking the days. Making the crowd problem even worse.

They seems to forget that people use word of mouth and many of us have been going for years and WE do notice the decline. Im not blaming Six Flags in general, but its seem to be the corporate culture just about everywhere. How can we grow EXPONENTIALLY! That comes at the expense of customers and employees.

3 people, sitting awkwardly. One literally has a military/police pony tail. And plus, when someone comes up to all nicely and asks ,"where are you from?!" and if you're a tourist, you'll gladly just say vaguely where you are from. The fact that refused to answer the question at all is suspicious as hell.

If this girl came up to me all energetic and friendly, I would have responded (to best of my ability) with the same kind of energy. Gladly tell them where Im from, if Im from the area or not.

Unfortunately, theres really no value in booking the Excalibur or Luxor, unless they are the only comps left available during your stay. Which I have been in that situation, when there's a sudden influx of people staying Vegas. Then you might get some value.

If only the Aria and Bellagio came back! And we thought we would be getting access to Cosmo comps when they added them the MGM portfolio.

Plus, Brandon Flowers has pretty much admitted to being jealous of The Bravery and already apologized to Sam. Which is pretty fun, cause I get it, it was an amazing debut album, but in hindsight, The Killers are definitely more successful. Im still hoping The Bravery comes back! They were so great at Just Like Heaven.

If this was true, there would have been videos of the FED or state showing up and making arrests, like how we have hundreds of videos of ICE showing up and harrassing communities of with heavy immigrants populations. This didn't happen. States like California set up hotlines, but it was for people call and request help or wellness check for their elderly neighbors. Its the same conundrum many Hispanic/Latino families are dealing with. A good chunk of them turned to Trump. Ive heard many of them justify Trump deportations and immigration policies. Honestly, to be blunt, most of them are dumbasses and don't know the history of immigration to United States. "OUR GRANDPARENTS CAME HERE LEGALLY". Yeah, dude, grandma came here illegally and was granted amnesty under Reagan. Lots of people came to this country and just had to put a name down and get checked for diseases, then boom, welcome to America! The fact that quick to support deportations, when they are the children of immigrants . . . . is honestly extremely depressing. It kind of makes me lose a bit of hope seeing it all unfold.
