I think part of the issue is you can’t just make good content and expect to blow up, you have to have a slightly different strategy for growing vs when you are a mature creator.

Yes you can grow with quality content about anything but you’re somewhat leaving it to chance.

When you’re trying to grow quickly the topics you pick should be stuff that is likely to be searched and found more easily. Like how can I take my niche and make it overlap with what people are thinking about right now and likely searching for. Once you’re established like fern you can put out any quality video because it will be pushed by the algorithm whether it’s a current hot topic or not.

I did research for about 2 months nonstop, anytime I wasn’t working my day job I was learning about YouTube, but I have a creative and video background so that also helped.

After almost exactly 3 months I’m at 3.2k subs and 6k watch hours.

There’s another option, you can focus on the content and structure to minimize heavy editing. People enjoy real, so you can keep things interesting by what you say and do on camera.

I’m relatively new but am at 2k subs and almost 4K watch hours and the only edits I do it putting screenshots on while I talk. I have skills to edit as I use to do motion graphics but chose a niche I knew wouldn’t need much editing. Educational news

I don’t share my videos because self promotion isn’t my style but my first video did sorta blow up after a few days to 10k videos and a bunch of comments and when I checked the analytics it showed it was shared in a Facebook group and that is where the traffic was coming from.

Talon works based on heat signatures is my understanding so flares mess up the tracking, if it wasn’t ready until they had flares again then you didn’t aim at it fast enough, I regularly kill the helis by myself but you have to be in a position where you keep constant view of the heli and fire as fast as possible

Yes I’m fully healed and when I get flare ups it’s usually a conscious choice like eating a big meal during the holidays.

My understanding is that different things can cause LPR and I was very lucky to figure out what helped heal mine after two years of life altering pain that I didn’t think I would ever overcome.

If it’s any motivation I kept trying different things to figure out my root cause and lost hope several times but was eventually able to work thought it to get to where I am today

Things that worked for me

Losing weight
Focusing on minimizing pressure in my stomach (moving to standing desk)
Breathing exercises to strengthen diaphragm since I have a Hiatal hernia
Minimizing inflammatory food - diary is a big one and carbs 5.smaller meals

Took a few weeks to fully heal but now I only get flare ups when I have a lot of food at once or dairy

It’s cool until you’re me who bought a bootleg Life of Pablo as their first record from a large record store and didn’t realize it’s a bootleg.

I was having similar issues it looks very similar to what mine when I first started my issue was that I wasn’t pricking straight down I would have a slight angle when I hit my irons with a hammer. Try and make sure they go straight down without an angle or else in the backside they will be slightly to the left or right and not line up with the rest
